Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kecerdasan emosional siswa kelas VIII C di MTs Al-Inayah Bandung dalam pembelajaran tari kreatif melalu penerapan pendekatan kontekstual. Dilatar belakangi lemahnya kecerdasan emosional siswa kelas VIII C sebagai sampel penelitian dengan jumlah 35 orang siswa, khususnya pada aspek mengenali emosi, mengelola emosi, motivasi diri sendiri, mengenali emosi orang lain, dan membina hubungan dalam pembelajaran seni tari dikarenakan pendekatan pembelajaran yang digunakan oleh guru Seni Budaya untuk meningkatkan kecerdasan emosional belum optimal. Penelitian dirumuskan untuk memperoleh data tingkat kecerdasan emosional siswa dalam pembelajaran seni tari sebelum diterapkan pendekatan kontekstual, selama proses penerapan pendekatan kontekstual dalam pembelajaran tari kreatif, dan hasil penerapan pendekatan kontekstual dalam pembelajaran tari kreatif. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode eksperimen tipe pre-experimental design (One Group Pretest Posttest) dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah meningkatnya kecerdasan emosional siswa pada aspek mengenali emosi sendiri, mengelola emosi, motivasi diri sendiri, mengenali emosi orang lain, dan membina hubungan dalam pembelajaran seni tari. Keberhasilan penelitian ini dapat dilihat dari perhitungan uji T, dimana penelitian akan dikatakan berhasil jika t_test > t_tabel. Berdasarkan analisis tersebut, peneliti memperoleh data peningkatan kecerdasan emosional siswa pada keseluruhan siswa sehingga menghasilkan nilai t_test sebesar 24,74 dengan t_(tabel )sebesar 1,69 atau t_test > t_tabel. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini bahwa pendekatan kontekstual dalam pembelajaran tari kreatif merupakan suatu konsep pembelajaran yang dapat digunakan untuk meningkatkan kecerdasan emosional siswa dalam pembelajaran seni tari. This study aims to describe the emotional intelligence of 8th grade C students at MTs Al-Inayah Bandung in learning creative dance through the application of contextual approaches. Against the background of the weak emotional intelligence of students of class VIII C as a research sample with a total of 35 students, especially in the aspects of recognizing emotions, managing emotions, self-motivation, recognizing the emotions of others, and fostering relationships in dance learning due to the learning approach used by the teacher Cultural Arts to improve emotional intelligence is not optimal. The research was formulated to obtain data on the level of emotional intelligence of students in learning dance before applying contextual approaches, during the process of applying contextual approaches in learning creative dance, and the results of applying contextual approaches in learning creative dance. The research method used is the method of experimental type pre-experimental design (One Group Pretest Posttest) with a quantitative approach. The results of this study are increased emotional intelligence of students on aspects of recognizing their own emotions, managing emotions, self-motivation, recognizing the emotions of others, and fostering relationships in dance learning. The success of this research can be seen from the calculation of the T test, where the research will be said to be successful if t_test > t_table. Based on this analysis, researchers obtained data on increasing emotional intelligence of students on all students so as to produce a value of t_test of 24.74 with t_table of 1.69 or t_test > t_table The conclusion of this study is that the contextual approach in learning creative dance is a learning concept that can be used to improve students' emotional intelligence in learning dance.
