Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui implementasi model pembelajaran kooperatif Think Pair Share (TPS) menggunakan media kartu berpasangan, dan mengetahui persepsi siswa terhadap implementasi model pembelajaran kooperatif Think Pair Share (TPS) pada ranah kognitif, afektif, dan psikomotor. Latar belakang dilaksanakannya penelitian ini adalah terdapat beberapa kendala dalam berlangsungnya pelaksanaan pembelajaran, kendala tersebut antara lain masih menggunakan model pembelajaran ceramah sehingga siswa mudak mengantuk, siswa cenderung terlihat pasif dan siswa merasa sulit dalam menerima pembelajaran pada mata pelajaran Sistem Telekomunikasi khususnya Kompetensi Dasar tentang Menerapkan Sistem Jaringan LAN, MAN dan WAN. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian adalah Mix Method dengan desain Sequential Explanatory Design. Pada desain ini menghubungkan metode penelitian kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Dimana tahap pertama penelitian kuantitatif, dan tahapan kedua kualitatif. Temuan hasil penelitian adalah terdapat peningkatan hasil belajar setelah implementasi model pembelajaran kooperatif Think Pair Share menggunakan media kartu berpasangan. Selain itu terdapat hasil persepsi siswa yang sangat baik terhadap penerimaan model pembelajaran kooperatif Think Pair Share menggunakan media kartu berpasangan. Hasil belajar pada ranah kognitif dibuktikan adanya peningkatan dari sebelum dan sesudah diberikan perlakuan, peningkatan hasil belajar pada ranah kognitif dibuktikan dengan nilai ujian pre-test 27,45 yaitu dibawah KKM. Sedangkan nilai ujian post-tests sebesar 85,01 menunjukan diatas KKM. Memiliki nilai N-gain 0,86 termasuk kedalam kategori tinggi. Selain itu, dibuktikan juga dengan uji hipotesis. Uji tersebut diperoleh dari nilai thitung = 0, 314 lebih besar dari ttabel = 0,005, ini menunjukan bahwa terdapat perbedaan sebelum diberi model pembelajaran kooperataif Think Pair Share (TPS) menggunakan media kartu berpasangan dengan yang sesudah diberi perlakuan. Pada hasil observer ranah afektif mengalami peningkatan pada perlakuan pertama dengan rata – rata hasil siswa 69,16 dengan perlakuan kedua dengan rata – rata hasil siswa 90. Hasil psikomotor rata – rata hasil siswa adalah 87,91. ..... This study aims to find out the implementation of cooperative learning model Think Pair Share (TPS) using paired card media, and to know the perception of students on the implementation of cooperative learning model Think Pair Share (TPS) on the cognitive, affective, and psychomotor aspects. The background of the implementation of this research is there are some obstacles in the implementation of learning, the obstacles are still using the learning model of the lecture so that students are sleepy, the students tend to look passive and the students find it difficult in receiving learning on the subject of Telecommunication System especially Basic Competence on Implementing System LAN, MAN and WAN networks. The method used in this research is Mix Method with Sequential Explanatory Design design. In this design it connects both quantitative and qualitative research methods. Where is the first phase of quantitative research, and the second stage qualitative. The findings of the research results is that there is an increase in learning outcomes after the implementation of cooperative learning model Think Pair Share using paired card media. In addition there is a very good student perceptions of the acceptance of cooperative learning model Think Pair Share using paired card media. Learning outcomes in the cognitive domain were evidenced by an increase from before and after treatment, the improvement of learning outcomes in the cognitive domain was evidenced by a pre test score of 27.45 under KKM. While the value of post-tests exam of 85.01 shows above KKM. Has a 0.86 N-gain value included into the high category. In addition, also proven by hypothesis testing. The test is obtained from tcount = 0, 314 is bigger than ttable = 0,005, it shows that there is difference before being given cooperative learning model Think Pair Share (TPS) using paired card media with which after treatment. In result of observer affective aspect have improvement on first treatment with mean of student result 69,16 with second treatment with mean result student 90. Psychomotor result of mean of student result is 87,91.
