Abstract
Penelitian ini berdasarkan perlu adanya video perawatan kebersihan diri (personal hygiene) anak sebagai media dalam penyuluhan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membuat media berupa video berbentuk animasi sebagai media penyuluhan dalam memberikan wawasan dan keterampilan pada anak pra sekolah tentang perawatan kebersihan diri berbasis life skill. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Research and Development (R&D) dengan model PPE (planning, production, evaluation), teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan studi pendahuluan, studi kepustakaan dan validasi expert judgment. Validator dalam penelitian ini adalah sebanyak 3 orang, yaitu akademisi ahli media, akademisi ahli anak dan praktisi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pada umumnya video perawatan kebersihan diri anak pra sekolah berbasis life skill sudah dikatakan sangat layak digunakan untuk mendukung proses pemberian wawasan dan keterampilan tentang perawatan kebersihan diri pada anak pra sekolah di dalam proses penyuluhan. Hasil penelitian merekomendasikan kepada penyuluh serta orang tua agar memanfaatkan video sebagai media dalam pemberian wawasan dan keterampilan dalam proses penyuluhan. Bagi peneliti selanjutnya dapat melakukan penelitian tentang penerapan video perawatan kebersihan diri berbasi life skill untuk anak pra sekolah dalam kegiatan penyuluhan; This research is based on the need for personal hygiene care videos for children as a medium in counseling. This research aims to make media in the form of video in the form of animation as a counseling media in providing insight and skills to pre-school children about personal hygiene care based on life skills. The research method used is Research and Development (R&D) with PPE (planning, production, evaluation) models, data collection techniques using preliminary studies, literature studies and expert judgment validation. There were 3 validators in this study, namely media expert academics, child expert academics and practitioners. The results showed that in general the life skills of pre-school children's hygiene care based on life skills had been said to be very appropriate to be used to support the process of providing insight and skills about self-hygiene care to pre-school children in the counseling process. The results of the study recommend that extension workers and parents use video as a medium to provide insight and skills in the counseling process. For further researchers, they can conduct research on the application of life skill maintenance videos based on life skills for pre-school children in counseling activities
