Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh permasalahan pada siswa kelas IV SDN 150 Gatot Subroto Kota Bandung yaitu rendahnya keterampilan gerak fundamental dalam pembelajaran atletik. Untuk menghasilkan pembelajaran atletik yang baik didukung oleh keterampilan gerak fundamental yang baik pula, karena keduanya sangat penting dan harus dimiliki oleh siswa dalam pembelajaran pendidikan jasmani di sekolah, maka peneliti membuat suatu program pembelajaran yang bertujuan untuk mengatasi permasalahan tersebut dengan cara meningkatkan keterampilan gerak fundamental melalui program kids’ athletics. Kids’ Athletics merupakan model pembelajaran atletik untuk anak-anak yang diciptakan oleh IAAF (Internasional Association of Athletics Federation). Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu eksperimen dengan desain penelitian yaitu pretest-posttest control group design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini yaitu siswa kelas IV SDN 150 Gatot Subroto Kota Bandung. Sampel dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 34 siswa dengan teknik pengambilan simpel random sampling. Penelitian ini dilakukan sebanyak 12 kali. Analisis data yang dilakukan yaitu dengan bantuan software SPSS versi 25.00 for Windows. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa pembelajaran atletik dengan program kids’ athletics memberikan pengaruh terhadap peningkatan keterampilan gerak fundamental, pembelajaran atletik dengan model direct instruction memberikan pengaruh terhadap peningkatan keterampilan gerak fundamental, dan pembelajaran atletik dengan program kids’ athletics lebih berpengaruh dibandingkan pembelajaran atletik dengan model direct instruction terhadap peningkatan keterampilan gerak fundamental.;--The background of this research is regarding the low fundamental movement skills in athletic learning by focusing on the fourth-grade students of SDN 150 Gatot Subroto, Bandung. To make good athletic learning can be supported by good fundamental movement skills because both are very important and must be possessed by students in physical education learning in schools. Based on that problem, the researcher will make a learning program that aims to overcome the problem by increasing the fundamental movement skills through kids' athletics program. Kids' Athletics is an athletic learning model for children created by the IAAF (International Association of Athletics Federation). The method that used in this research is by experiment with research design named pretest-posttest control group design. The population in this research are the fourth-grade students of SDN 150 Gatot Subroto, Bandung. The sample in this research amounted to 34 students, data retrieval using a simple random sampling technique. This research was conducted as many as 12 times. The data analysis was processed by SPSS version 25.00 for windows. The result of this research showed that athletic learning using kids’ athletics program significantly influence the improvement of fundamental movement skills, athletic learning using direct instruction is also improving fundamental movement skills, but athletic learning using kids' athletics programs has a greater improvement on fundamental movement skills rather than athletic learning using direct instruction model.
