Abstract

Penelitian ini mempelajari pembelajaran piano untuk tunanetra di Departemen pendidikan musik UPI Bandung. Pembelajaran piano membutuhkan pengelihatan, pendengaran dan peraba. Bagi seorang tunanetra indra pengelihatan menjadi salah satu keterbatasan mereka untuk mempelajari piano. Penelitian ini bertujuan agar metode, media dan pendekatan yang digunakan oleh pengajar bisa lebih efektif terhadap seorang tunanetra. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif analisis, dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa cara belajar menggunakan metode, media dan pendekatan yang berbeda dapat meningkatkan semangat belajarnya. Dalam aktifitas belajar mahasiswa tampak lebih antusias, sungguh-sungguh, dan penuh perhatian. Dari hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa cara pendekatan dari proses pembelajaran sangat penting.;--This research study about piano learning for visual impairment students in Bandung Department of Music Education UPI. Piano learning needs the ability to see, hear, and touch. For visual impairment students, the ability to see is an obstacle for them to learn piano. This study aims the method, media, and approach which been used by the teacher can be more effective for the visual impairment students. Descriptive analysis method and qualitative approach are chosen for this study. The result of this study shows that using different methods, media, and approaches can improve students' eager to learn. In the learning activity, students seen more enthusiast, emphatically, and full of attention. From the result of this study shows that way to approach from the learning process is really important.
