Abstract

Masalah dina ieu panalungtikan nya éta kurangna kamampuh maca pamahaman carita pondok siswa. Tujuan tina ieu panalungtikan pikeun ngadéskripsikeun kamampuh maca pamahaman carita pondok siswa saméméh jeung sabada ngagunakeun modél Group Investigation, ngaronjat henteuna kamampuh siswa, jeung béda kamampuh siswa antara saméméh jeung sabada ngagunakeun modél Group Investigation. Métode anu dipaké nya éta studi kuasi ékspérimén, pamarekan kuantitatif jeung desain one group pre-test post-test. Sumber datana nya éta 32 siswa kelas VIII G SMPN 19 Bandung taun ajar 2018/2019. Téknik anu dipaké nya éta tés tulis. Hasilna nya éta, kamampuh maca pamahaman carita pondok siswa saméméh ngagunakeun modél Group Investigation kaasup kategori sedeng (62.2), kamampuh siswa sabada ngagunakeun modél Group Investigation kaasup kategori hadé (80.2), ngaronjatna kamampuh maca pamahaman carita pondok siswa sabada ngagunakeun modél Group Investigation, sarta dumasar hasil uji hipotésis, nilai signifikansina nya éta Sig=0.000. Jadi, model pangajaran Group Investigation bias ngaronjatkeun kamampuh maca pamahaman carita pondok siswa kelas VIII G SMPN 19 Bandung taun ajaran 2018/2019.;--Masalah dalam penelitian ini yaitu kurangnya kemampuan membaca pemahaman cerita pendek siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kemampuan membaca pemahaman cerita pendek siswa sebelum dan sesudah menggunakan model Group Investigation, peningkatan kemampuan siswa, dan perbedaan kemampuan siswa antara sebelum dan sesudah menggunakan model Group Investigation. Metode yang digunakan adalah kuasi eksperimen, pendekatan kuantitatif, desain one group pre-test post-test, dan teknik tes tulis. Sumber datanya adalah 32 siswa kelas VIII G SMPN 19 Bandung tahun ajaran 2018/2019. Hasilnya adalah, kemampuan membaca pemahaman cerita pendek siswa sebelum menggunakan model Group Investigation termasuk kategori sedang (62.2), kemampuan siswa sesudah menggunakan model Group Investigation termasuk kategori baik (80.2), meningkatnya kemampuan siswa sesudah menggunakan model Group Investigation, dan berdasarkan hasil uji perbedaan, nilai signifikansinya adalah Sig.= 0.000<0.05. Jadi, model pembelajaram Group Investigation dapat meningkatkan kemampuan membaca pemahaman cerita pendek siswa kelas VIII G SMPN 19 Kota Bandung tahun ajaran 2018/2019.;--The problem in this study is the lack of students ‘abilities to read short story comprehension. This study aims to describe the students ‘abilities to read comprehension of short stories before and after using the Group Investigation model, improvement of students 'abilities, and differences in students' abilities between before and after using the Group Investigation model. The method is a quasi-experimental, a quantitative approach, and one group pre-test post-test design. The data source was 32 students in class VIII G of SMPN 19 Bandung in the 2018/2019 school year. The technique used is the written test technique. The findings indicated of this study are: the students’ reading comprehension ability before used Group Investigation models belongs to fair (62.2), the students’ reading comprehension ability after used Group Investigation models belongs to good (80.2), the increased of reading comprehension ability after used Group Investigation models, and the result of hypothesis test was Sig=0.000<0.05. So, the used of Group Investigation model can improving students’ reading comprehension abilities.
