Abstract

Keterampilan komunikasi interpersonal merupakan keterampilan yang sangat penting bagi manusia yang senantiasa melakukan interaksi sosial. Model cooperative learning tipe make a match menjadi salah satu media untuk melatih keterampilan komunikasi interpersonal. Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu (1) mengetahui perbedaan keterampilan komunikasi interpersonal peserta didik antara sebelum dan sesudah diterapkan model cooperative learning tipe make a match di kelas eksperimen, (2) mengetahui perbedaan keterampilan komunikasi interpersonal peserta didik sebelum dan sesudah diterapkan metode diskusi pada kelas kontrol, (3) mengetahui perbedaan keterampilan komunikasi interpersonal antara kelas eksperimen dengan kelas kontrol. Penelitian dilakukan di SMP Negeri 45 Bandung dengan menggunakan metode quasi experiment dan desain nonequivalent pretest posttest control group. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan teknik purposive sampling, yaitu kelas VII D sebagai kelas eksperimen, dan kelas VII C sebagai kelas kontrol. Berdasarkan hasil Uji-T ditemukan beberapa hal, (1) terdapat perbedaan keterampilan komunikasi interpersonal peserta didik sebelum dan sesudah diterapkan model cooperative learning tipe make a match di kelas eksperimen, (2) terdapat perbedaan keterampilan komunikasi interpersonal peserta didik sebelum dan sesudah diterapkan metode diskusi di kelas kontrol, (3) terdapat perbedaan keterampilan komunikasi interpersonal antara kelas eksperimen dengan kelas kontrol. Peningkatan yang terjadi setelah pemberian treatment di kelas eksperimen jauh lebih tinggi dibandingkan kelas kontrol. Sehingga penggunaan model cooperative learning tipe make a match efektif dalam mengembangkan keterampilan komunikasi interpersonal peserta didik.;--Interpersonal communication skills are very important skills for human who always do social interactions. Cooperative learning model with make a match type is the one of media to develop interpersonal communication skills. The purpose of this research are (1) to know the differentiation interpersonal communication skills student before and after using cooperative learning model with make a match type on experiment class, (2) to know the differentiation interpersonal communication skills student before and after using discussion method on a controlled class, (3) to know the differentiation interpersonal communication skills student between experiment class and controlled class. The research has been done on 45 Bandung JHS using quasi experiment method with nonequivalent pretest posttest control group design. Sampling it done with purposive sampling technic which is class VII D as the experiment class and VII C as controlled class. Based on the results of T-Test found several things, (1) there was the different interpersonal communication skills student before and after using cooperative learning model of make a match type on experiment class, (2) there was the different interpersonal communication skills student before and after using discussion method on control class, (3) there was the different interpersonal communication skills student between experiment class and control class. The increase that occurs after treatment on experiment class was very high than controlled class. So the use of cooperative learning model with make a match type was effective for developing interpersonal communication skills student.
