Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh kurangnya inovasi dalam penerapan model pembelajaran pendidikan jasmani dan rendahnya keterampilan bermain dalam pembelajaran handball. Upaya mengatasi permasalahan tersebut peneliti menerapkan salah satu model pembelajaran yaitu model inquiri dalam Handball Like Games untuk mengetahui peningkatan keterampilan bermain kelas V Sekolah Dasar Negeri 044 Cicadas Awigombong Kota Bandung. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang dilakukan dengan 3 siklus. Objek dalam penelitian ini yaitu Sekolah Dasar Negeri 044 Cicadas Awigombong Kota Bandung. Subjek dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 34 siswa. Hasil observasi menunjukan tingkat keterampilan bermain siswa masih sangat rendah yaitu (32%) adapaun hasil penelitian pada siklus I tindakan 1 menunjukkan keterampilan bermain siswa mencapai hasil 38,24%), siklus I tindakan 2 menunjukkan keterampilan bermain siswa mencapai hasil (44,12%). Pada siklus II tindakan 1 menunjukkan bahwa keterampilan bermain meningkat hingga mencapai (62%), siklus II tindakan 2 mencapai (70,59%) dan siklus III tindakan mengalami peningkatan mencapai (85,29%). Dari data hasil penelitian yang telah dilakukan dapat disimpulkan bahwa penelitian mengalami peningkatan keterampilan bermain setiap siklus dan tindakannya sehingga dengan Penerapan Model inquiri dalam Handball Like Games dapat meningkatkan keterampilan bermain siswa.;--The background of this research was lack of innovation in applying model in learning physical education model and low-level of students' play skill in learning handball. In order to resolve those problems, researcher applied one of learning model which was inquiry model in learning Handball Like Games in order to know the skill play level for the fifth grade students of Sekolah Dasar Negeri 044 Cicadas Awigombong Bandung City. Classroom Action Research was used as the method which is done with 3 cycles. The object of this research was Sekolah Dasar Negeri 044 Cicadas Awigombong Bandung City. There were 34 students were participated as the subject of this research. The result of observation has shown that students' play skill were very low which was (32%) in cycle I action 1 students' could achieved (38,24%), in cycle I action 2 students' play skill reached (44,12%). In cycle II action 1 students' play skill increased to (62%), im cycle II action 2 it was improved to (70,59%) and in cycle III the students' play skill grew even higher to (85,29). In conclusion, it can clearly be seen that there was increasing of play skill in every cycles and actions so the application of inquiry model in learning Handball Like Games could increase students' play skill.
