Abstract

Penelitian dilatarbelakangi oleh asumsi bahwa menulis teks ulasan merupakan suatu hal yang sulit karena siswa lebih menyukai mengulas secara verbal. Teknik yang diterapkan dalam penelitian ini adalah teknik quantum writing pada pembelajaran menulis teks ulasan berperspektif moral melalui film pendek Indonesia. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui perbedaan yang signifikan antara kemampuan menulis teks ulasan film pendek Indonesia berperspektif moral di kelas eksperimen yang mendapat perlakuan berupa penerapan teknik quantum writing dengan kelas pembanding yang mendapat perlakuan model pembelajaran terlangsung. Pembelajaran teks ulasan pun tidak hanya terbatas pada struktur dan kebahasaan. Namun, terdapat pula pembelajaran moral yang dapat dipetik dari film pendek yang digunakan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode eksperimen kuasi desain nonproability control group design dengan teknik pengambil sample purposive sampling. Penelitian dilakukan di kelas VIII-A dan VIII-H SMP Negeri 2 Bandung. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ketika prates, kelas eksperimen memiliki nilai rata-rata 60 dan kelas pembanding memiliki nilai rata-rata 56. Setelah diterapkan perlakuan, nilai rata-rata kelas eksperimen meningkat menjadi 75. Begitu pula dengan kelas pembanding yang meningkat menjadi 65. Setelah hasil perhitungan data statistik untuk menguji hipotesis, didapatkan nilai Sig. (2-tailed) sebesar 0,000. Hasil tersebut menunjukkan bahwa α (0,05) ≥ 0,000 sehingga Ha diterima dan H0 ditolak. Hasil ini menunjukkan terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara kemampuan kelas eksperimen dan kemampuan kelas pembanding dalam menulis teks ulasan film pendek Indonesia berperspektif moral setelah teknik quantum writing diterapkan. Dengan perbedaan itu pula dapat disimpulkan bahwa teknik quantum writing dapat menjadi teknik alternatif dalam pembelajaran menulis teks ulasan.; This research is based on the assumption that writing review texts is difficult because students prefer reviewing verbally. This research is an application of a quantum writing technique in how to write text in a moral perspective through Indonesian short films. The purpose of this study is to find out the significant differences between the ability to write moral perspectives text reviews using Indonesian short movie in the experimental class that received treatment in the form of the application of the quantum writing technique and the comparison class that received the treatment of the direct learning model. The study of text reviews is not only limited to the structure and language, but also, there are moral lessons that can be learned from the short films. The research method used was a quasi-experimental method using nonprobability control group design with a purposive sampling technique. The study was conducted in class VIII-A and VIII-H of SMP Negeri 2 Bandung. The results showed that when the pre-test, the experimental class had an average value of 60 and the comparison class had an average value of 56. After the treatment was applied, the average value of the experimental class increased to 75, as well as the comparison class which increased to 65. After the results of statistical data calculations to test the hypothesis, obtained Sig. (2-tailed) of 0,000. These results indicate that α (0,05) ≥ 0,000 so that Ha is accepted and H0 is rejected. This result means that there is a significant difference between the ability of the experimental class and the ability of the comparison class to write a moral short Indonesian film review after the quantum writing technique is applied. With these differences it can also be concluded that the quantum writing technique can be an alternative technique in learning to write review text.
