Abstract

Kerjasama antar negara juga membawa pengaruh pada budaya Indonesia, sehingga muncul westernisasi budaya. Berdasarkan hal tersebut penting mengembangkan literasi budaya peserta didik untuk menguatkan jati diri generasi bangsa sebagai upaya menanggulangi dampak westernisasi di Indonesia. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji pengaruh penerapan media audio visual terhadap literasi budaya peserta didik kelas IV sekolah dasar yang diintegrasikan dalam pembelajaran kurikulum 2013. Penelitian dilakukan melalui metode kuasi eksperimen dengan nonrandomized control group pretest-posttest design. Sampel penelitian ditentukan secara purposif dan instrumen pengumpulan data menggunakan instrument tes dengan indikator diadopsi dari Profile of Culturally Literate Student oleh Metiri Group and North Central Regional Education Laboratory (NCREL). Uji perbedaan melalui uji t test dengan indeks signifikansi sebesar 0.05. Sampel penelitian pada penelitian ini sebanyak 44 siswa kelas IV sekolah dasar dari SDN 1 Durenan dan SDN Semarum di Kabupaten Trenggalek. Penelitian dilakukan tiga kali pertemuan di kelas eksperimen dan tiga kali pertemuan di kelas kontrol, sebelum penelitian sampel diberi prestest kemudian setelah perlakuan sampel diberikan posttest. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat perbedaan yang siginifikan antara peserta didik yang memperoleh pembelajaran menggunakan media audio visual di kelas eksperimen dengan peserta didik yang memperoleh pembelajaran menggunakan media gambar di kelas kontrol. Maka dari itu, dapat disimpulkan penerapan media audio visual efektif dalam meningkatkan literasi budaya peserta didik kelas IV sekolah dasar. Berdasarkan penelitian yang sudah dilakukan, perlunya penerapan literasi budaya yang diintegrasikan dalam kurikulum sekolah dasar serta meningkatkan keterampilan guru untuk mampu memanfaatkan teknologi sebagai penunjang pengembagan literasi budaya menggunakan media audio visual.;Cooperation between countries also had an influence on Indonesian culture, so that cultural westernization emerged. Based on this, it is important to develop the cultural literacy of students to strengthen the identity of the nation's generation in an effort to overcome the effects of westernization in Indonesia. The study aims to test the influence of the implementation of audio visual media to the cultural literacy of four-grade learners of elementary schools integrated in the learning of curriculum 2013. Research is conducted through an experimental quasi method with nonrandomized control group pretest-posttest design. Research samples were purposif and data collection instruments using test instruments with indicators adopted from Profile of Culturally Literate Student oleh Metiri Group and North Central Regional Education Laboratory (NCREL). Test the difference through Test t-test with a significance index of 0.05. The research samples on this study were as much as 44 fourth graders of elementary school from SDN 1 Durenan and SDN Semarum in Trenggalek Regency. Research was conducted three times the meeting in the experimental class and three times the meeting in the control class, before the sample study was given prestest later after the sample treatment was administered posttest. The results showed there was a significant difference between learners who gained learning using audio visual media in experimental class with students who gained learning using image media in class control. Therefore, it can be concluded the application of audio visual media is effective in improving the literacy culture Literas grade IV students Elementary School. Based on research that has been conducted, the need to implement cultural literacy integrated in the elementary school curriculum and improve the skills of teachers to be able to utilize technology as supporting the development of cultural literacy using audio visual media.
