Abstract

Pemanfaatan waktu luang pada anak berbeda-beda pada tiap generasinya. Diera milenial ini pemanfaatan waktu luang oleh anak cenderung banyak dilakukan di dalam rumah dengan memainkan gadget, bermain game online, atau menonton video youtube. Pemanfaatan waktu luang diatas jika penggunaannya 2-3 jam perhari bisa menjadi kegiatan untuk menyegarkan diri tapi jika penggunaannya sudah melewati batas seperti 8 jam lebih dalam sehari lama kelamaan akan menimbulkan rasa malas untuk bergerak yang dapat berakibat obesitas terhadap anak atau gangguan mental akibat ketergantungan game online, harapannya anak lebih bisa menggunakan waktu luangnya untuk melakukan aktivitas yang menggunakan aktivitas geraknya untuk mencegah resiko diatas. Peneliti tertarik mengangkat judul ini karena ingin mengetahui pemanfaatan waktu luang pada anak diera milenial ini karena sudah berbahnya nilai dan kebiasaan dari era sebelumnya. Peneiti memilih kelas atas karena karakteristik anak mulai bisa mandiri, mulai bisa menentukan keinginannya sendiri. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif dan data diambil dengan intrumen berupa angket. Populasi penelitian ini adalah 678 siswa kelas atas dari 14 sekolah di Kota Bandung, pengambilan sampel dengan nomogram Harry King sehingga mendapat sampel sejumlah 250 siswa. Ujicoba instrumen dilakukan pada 20 orang siswa menggunakan angket. Validitas instrumen digunakan Korelasi Product dan Part Whole Corelation diperoleh hasil sebesar 0,629 sedangkan reliabilitasnya menggunakan teknik KR-20 dan diperoleh hasil sebesar 0,971 dan dinyatakan reliabel. Analisis data menggunakan persentase. Hasil kesimpulan penelitian bahwa pemanfaatan waktu luang siswa kelas atas di Kota Bandung dalam penelitian ini yang terbanyak adalah aktivitas kognitif, siswa kelas atas di Kota Bandung sangat aktif dalam pemanfaatan waktu luangnya. Researchers are interested in raising this title because they want to know how to use the time in this diera child because of the dangerous values and habits of previous times. Researchers choose the upper class because the characteristics of children can begin to be independent, can begin to determine their own desires. This research is a descriptive study and data taken with instruments in the form of a questionnaire. The population of this study was 678 upper class students from 14 schools in Bandung, taking samples with the Harry King nomogram getting a sample of 250 students. Instrument tests conducted on 20 students using a questionnaire. The validity of the instrument used Product Correlation and Whole Correlation Section obtained results of 0.629 while the reliability using the KR-20 technique and obtained results of 0.971 and obtained reliable. Data analysis uses percentages. The results of the conclusions from research on leisure time for upper class students in the city of Bandung in this study the most are cognitive activities, upper class students in the city of Bandung are very active in utilizing their free time.
