Abstract

Penelitian ini berjudul “Kajian Motif Cerita Pada Buku Serial Cerita Rakyat Karya Murti Bunanta Serta Pemanfaatannya Sebagai Buku Pengayaan Pengetahuan”. Penulis mengkaji struktur, motif cerita, dan transformasi cerita dengan menggunakan teori strukturalisme naratif dan transformasi sastra. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mendeskripsikan struktur cerita rakyat, mendeskripsikan motif cerita berdasarkan indeks-motif Thompson, mengklasifikasi transformasi cerita dan mendeskripsikan pemanfaatan buku pengayaan pengetahuan dari hasil kajian buku serial cerita rakyat karya Murti Bunanta. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah analisis isi yang fokus utamanya tertuju pada isi pesan yang terdapat dalam sebuah karya sastra. Temuan-temuan dalam kajian ini di antaranya 1) pada empat buku serial cerita rakyat pengirim pada beberapa peristiwa berupa karsa, sebagian lainnya karsa mengisi aktan objek. Pengisi setiap aktan terdiri dari beragam kategori, diantaranya manusia, hasrat (keinginan, harapan, kebohongan, kelaparan), dan benda (pisau, kelopak jantung pisang, mimpi, tempayan). 2) ditemukan 10 motif cerita yang dirujuk pada indeks-motif Thompson, motif-motif tersebut berfungsi sebagai unsur pembangun cerita yang melekat pada tokoh utama, mulai dari muncul konflik hingga akhir cerita, 3) ditemukan dua bentuk transformasi cerita, yaitu simplified dan modifikasi.;This study is entitled " The Study Of Motif In The Murti Bunanta’s Folktale Series and Its Use As A Book Of Knowledge Enrichment". The author examines the structure, motive of the story, and the transformation of the story by using the theory of narrative structuralism and literary transformation. The purpose of this study is to describe the structure of the folklore serial book, describe the motif of the story based on the Thompson motif index, classify the transformation of the story and describe the use of knowledge enrichment books from the results of the study of the folklore serial book by Murti Bunanta. The method used in this research is content analysis whose main focus is on the content of messages contained in a literary work. The findings in this study include 1) in four books sending folklore serials on several events in the form of karsa, while others will fill the object act. The fillers of each act consist of various categories, including humans, desires (wishes, hopes, lies, hunger), and objects (knives, banana heart petals, dreams, jars). 2) found 10 story motifs referred to Thompson's index, these motifs function as story building elements attached to the main character, starting from conflict to end of story, 3) found two forms of story transformation, namely simplified and modification.
