Abstract
Penelitian ini membahas tentang kemampuan motorik halus anak usia dini di kelompok B TK At-Taqwa Cimahi yang mengangkat permasalahan berupa kelenturan tangan anak yang masih belum berkembang secara optimal. Untuk mengatasi masalah tersebut peneliti menerapkan kegiatan membuat wayang kreasi untuk meningkatkan kemampuan motorik halus anak usia dini. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah anak-anak kelompok B usia 5-6 tahun TK At-Taqwa dengan jumlah 11 anak yang terdiri dari 5 laki-laki dan 6 perempuan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kondisi objektif kemampuan motorik halus anak dan mengetahui peningkatan kemampuan motorik halus anak setelah diterapkannya kegiatan membuat wayang kreasi. Metode yang digunakan adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) dengan model Kemmis dan Mc. Taggart yang terdiri atas empat tahap yaitu: 1) perencanaan, 2) pelaksanaan, 3) observasi dan 4) refleksi. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan berupa lembar observasi kemampuan motorik halus anak, format wawancara dan catatan lapangan. Hasil penelitian terkait kemampuan motorik halus anak pada siklus I sebesar 36% yang berada dalam kategori baik, sedangkan kemampuan motorik halus anak pada siklus II sebesar 82% yang berada dalam kategori baik. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, disimpulkan bahwa kegiatan membuat wayang kreasi dapat meningkatkan kemampuan motorik halus anak. Kata Kunci: Kemampuan Motorik Halus, Wayang Kreasi ----- This study discusses the fine motor skills of early childhood in group B At-Taqwa Cimahi Kindergarten which raises the problem in the form of flexibility of children's hands that are still not developing optimally. To overcome the researchers applied the activity of making puppet creations to improve fine motor skills of early childhood. The subject in this study are the ‘B’ group children aged 5-6 years at At-Taqwa Kindergarten with a total of 11 children which consist of 5 boys and 6 girls. The aims of this study are to determine the objective conditions of children's fine motor skills,form of interview and determine the increase in children's fine motor skills after the implementation of puppet creation activities. The method that used is Classroom Action Research (CAR) with Kemmis and Mc. Taggart consists of four stages: 1) planning, 2) implementation, 3) observation and 4) reflection. The research instrument is used in the form of observation sheets of children's fine motor skills and field notes. The results of the study is related to children's fine motor skills in the first cycle of 36% which are in the good category, while the fine motor abilities of children in the second cycle of 82% are in the good category. Based on the results of the study, it is concluded that the activity of making puppet creations can improve children's fine motor skills. Keywords: Fine Motor Skills, Pupper Creations
