Abstract
Increased population growth makes many people also need a house to live in and certainly not a very easy thing to choose the right house in accordance with the wishes because there are several factors used in housing selection, including land area, building area, house floor, number of rooms, distance from education, distance from the hospital, distance from the police station, distance from firefighters, and land prices. One solution that can be done is to use information technology in home data processing. One of the technological advancements that can overcome this is the existence of recommendations to determine homes using the Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) method and assisted by using the rest of the web services as data processing and processing, because web service rest is a system created to support data exchange capabilities in two or more systems connected to the network and other web services also support the use of XML or JSON as a data exchange format so that the interface created can be a mobile application. In this study the authors can produce a mobile-based housing recommendation application by utilizing web service rest in data processing to provide residential recommendations as a one of the solution to facilitate its search in accordance with what is desired by the user.
