    Abstract

    Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya partisipasi siswa kelas VIII-B SMP Kartika XIX-2 Bandung dalam proses pembelajaran IPS. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan partisipasi siswa, agar kualitas pembelajaran IPS dikelas tersebut menjadi lebih baik. Everyone is a teacher here menjadi strategi pembelajaran yang diproyeksi untuk meningkatkan partisipasi siswa. Metode penelitian menggunakan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) dengan desain penelitian John Elliot yang dilakukan dalam 3 siklus. Teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, catatan lapangan dan dokumentasi. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis dengan teknik analisis data kualitatif dan diperkuat dengan teknik analisis data kuantitatif. Validitas data dilakukan dengan cara member check, triangulasi dan expert opinion. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data diketahui bahwa partisipasi siswa dalam pembelajaran IPS mengalami peningkatan disetiap siklusnya. Pada siklus I, perolehan hasil observasi sebesar 52,40% dengan capaian predikat “C”. Pada siklus II, perolehan hasil observasi sebesar 74,60% yang artinya terjadi peningkatan sebesar 22,20% dan predikat yang dicapai meningkat menjadi “B”. Pada siklus III, perolehan hasil observasi sebesar 90,11% yang artinya terjadi peningkatan sebesar 15,51% dengan capaian predikat “B”. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan strategi everyone is a teacher here mampu meningkatkan partisipasi siswa kelas VIII B SMP Kartika XIX-2 Bandung dalam pembelajaran IPS.;-- This research was based on low participation of the students in VIII-B JHS Kartika XIX-2 Bandung on social studies learning. The research aimed to increase student’s participation, in order to make a better quality on social studies learning process in that class. Everyone is a teacher here became the learning strategy projected to increase student’s participation. The research used Classroom Action Research (CAR) as the method with John Elliot research design that was conducted in 3 cycles. The data was collected through observation, interview, field notes and documentation. The data obtained were analyzed by qualitative technique and reinforced by quantitative technique. The data's validity was done by member check, triangulation and expert opinion. The result showed that the student’s participation on social studies learning had increased in each cycle. In cycle I, the result of observation was 52,40% with achievement of predicate "C". In cycle II, the result of observation was 74.60% which means that there was an increase of 22.20% and the predicates achieved increase to "B". In cycle III, the result of observation was 90.11% which means that there was an increase of 15.51% with the achievement of predcate "B". Therefore it can be concluded that the application of everyone is a teacher here strategies can increase participation of students class of VIII B JHS Kartika XIX-2 Bandung on social studies learning.
