Abstract
Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh fenomena meningkatnya jumlah SMA swasta di Indonesia dari tahun ke tahun, perkembangan teknologi dan Peraturan Menteri Pendidikan Nasional Republik Indonesia Nomor 39 Tahun 2008 tentang Pembinaan Kesiswaan yang menyebabkan SMA Al Ma’soem harus dapat mengimplementasikan manajemen perubahan agar senantiasa bertahan dalam menghadapi keadaan tersebut. Fokus dalam penelitian ini adalah bagaimana membangun kesadaran atau desakan untuk dilakukannya perubahan; komunikasi dan; mekanisme pelaksana perubahan; target jangka pendek yang sudah dicapai serta mekanisme penguatan dari perubahan yang diterapkan agar dapat menjadi kebiasaan yang baru. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif jenisnya studi kasus dengan pengambilan sampel berdasarkan proposive sampling dan snowball sampling. Adapun hasil penelitian ini memberikan gambaran bahwa SMA Al Ma’soem secara umum sudah mengimplementasikan manajemen perubahan dalam meningkatkan pembinaan siswa. Namun pada pelaksanaannya masih terdapat tahap-tahap yang belum dilalui secara utuh sehingga ada beberapa program yang kurang berjalan dengan optimal. Peneliti merekomendasikan agar rencana manajemen perubahan dituangkan ke dalam roadmap atau rencana strategis sekolah.;This research is motivated by the phenomenon of increasing the number of private high schools in Indonesia from year to year, information and technological developments and the Republic of Indonesia Minister of National Education Regulation Number 39 of 2008 concerning student coaching which has led Al Ma'soem High School to be able to implement change management to survive in the middle of the that kind situation. The focus of this research are how to build awareness of the importance of change; communication and socialization; mechanism for implementing change; quick win that have been achieved as well as strengthening mechanisms of the changes implemented so that they can become new and established habits. This study is a descriptive qualitative research. It employs case study design with proposive sampling and snowball sampling. The results of this research gives description that Al Ma’soem High School in general has implemented change management in improving student development. But in its implementation there are still stages that have not been passed so that there are some programs that are not running well. The researcher recommends that the change management plan be included in the school roadmap or strategic plan.
