Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya kerjasama siswa dan hasil belajar siswa terutama pada mata pelajaran IPS. Hal tersebut terlihat dari kegiatan siswa yang individual saat pembelajaran dan nilai hasil belajar siswa terutama pada mata pelajaran IPS yang rendah. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan pelaksanaan pembelajaran dengan menerapkan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD dan untuk mendeskripsikan peningkatan kemampuan kerjasama dan hasil belajar siswa terutama pada mata pelajaran IPS. Metode penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas. Dengan model spiral dari Kemmis dan Taggart. Setiap siklusnya meliputi tahap perencanaan, pelaksanaan dan observasi (pengamatan), dan refleksi. Penelitian dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus dengan subjek penelitiannya adalah siswa kelas IV C SDN 035 Soka berjumlah 23 siswa. Instrumen penelitian ini menggunakan lembar observasi kerjasama siswa, lembar observasi keterlaksanaan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD, dan lembar tes. Hasil penelitian pada siklus I untuk ketuntasan keseluruhan indiktor kerjasama diperolehan persentase sebesar 72, 82% dengan kategori kurang baik, meningkat pada siklus II, dimana ketuntasan indikator kemampuan kerjasama siswa mencapai sebesar 95% Untuk hasil belajar, pada siklus I masih kurang baik, yaitu mencapai 60,86% ketuntasan hasil belajar, meningkat pada siklus II, yaitu sebesar 26,09%. Dimana hasil belajar pada siklus II mencapai persentase 86,95% Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD dapat meningkatkan kemampuan kerjasama siswa dan hasil belajar siswa SD terutama pada mata pelajaran IPS. Kata kunci: model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD, kemampuan kerjasama, hasil belajar. This research is motivated by the low level of student collaboration and their study result, especially in social studies subjects. This can be seen from the activities of students who are individual when learning and the test results, especially a low scores social studies subjects. The purpose of this study was to describe the implementation of learning by applying the STAD type cooperative learning model and to describe the increase in collaboration and student learning results especially on social studies subjects. This research method is Class Action Research. With a spiral model from Kemmis and Taggart. Each cycle includes the stages of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The research was conducted in two cycles with the subjects were a 23 students of 4th grader C class of SD 035 Soka. The instruments of this study were student collaboration observation sheets, implementation observation sheets of STAD type cooperative learning sheets, and test sheets. The results of the first cycle for the overall indicators of student collaboration were not good with the acquisition of 72, 82%, while in the second cycle the implementation of learning was good, where the completeness of the indicators of student collaboration reached 95% , which reached 60.86% completeness of learning outcomes, whereas in the second cycle the implementation of learning was good which reached 86.95%. The learning outcomes in the first cycle to the second cycle increased by 26.09%. Based on the results of the study it can be concluded that the application of the STAD type cooperative learning model can improve student collaboration and learning outcomes of elementary students, especially in social studies subjects.
