Abstract
Disleksia adalah suatu kondisi dimana individu menunjukkan kesulitan yang bermakna dalam berbahasa termasuk mengeja, membaca, dan menulis. Angka kejadian disleksia di Indonesia khususnya Jawa Barat mencapai 2-10%. Dalam proses belajar mengajar banyak guru yang tidak paham tentang disleksia. Ketidakpahaman guru mengenai disleksia dapat mengakibatkan terlambatnya deteksi dini pada anak serta memberikan penanganan yang tidak sesuai, sehingga akan menimbulkan dampak jangka panjang bagi anak disleksia. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui gambaran pengetahuan guru SD tentang disleksia di Kecamatan Sukasari Bandung. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kuantitatif, teknik sampling yang digunakanya itu stratified random sampling, jumlah sampel yang diteliti sebanyak 80 orang. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan hampirsetenganyadarirespondenberadapadakategoriberpengetahuancukupsebanyak 38 orang (47,5 %), hamper setengah dari responden berpengetahuan kurang yaitu sebanyak 36 orang (45%) dan sebagian kecil berpengetahuan baik yaitu sebanyak 6 orang (7,5%). Beberapa faktor yang mempengaruhi pengetahuan pada penelitian ini yaitu usia, jenis kelamin, pengalaman dan pemberian informasi mengenai disleksia yang belum merata. Simpulan bahwa gambaran pengetahuan guru SD tentang disleksia di Kecamatan Sukasari Bandung dalam kategori cukup. Saran kepada pihak sekolah untuk melakukan kegiatan yang aplikatif untuk menambah pengetahuan serta pemahaman guru tentang disleksia pada anak.;-- Dyslexia is a condition where a certain person shows significant difficulties in language including spelling, reading, and writing. The numbers of dyslexia in Indonesia, especially in West Java attain 2-10%. In the learning process, many teachers did not understand about dyslexia. Teachers’ lack of understanding about dyslexia can cause late detection of dyslexia in children and give improper handling so it will cause long-term impact for children with dyslexia. The purpose of this research is to find out teachers knowledge’s overview of dyslexia in Sukasari, Bandung. The research design that has been used in this research is descriptive qualitative, a sampling technique that has been used is stratified random sampling, the total of samples in this research are 80 people. The result of this research shows that almost half of the respondents are knowledgeable enough, a total of people in this category are 38 people (47,5%), almost half of the respondents are less knowledgeable which are 36 people are less knowledgeable (45%) and a small number of respondents are well known about dyslexia which are 6 people (7,5%). Some factors that affect the knowledge of this research are age, sex, experience, and socialization about dyslexia that still not unevenly distributed. The conclusion of this research is teachers knowledge’s overview of dyslexia in Sukasari Bandung is categorized enough. The suggestion to the school is to do applicative activities to increase the teachers’ knowledge and understanding about dyslexia to the children.
