Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh minat belajar siswa yang rendah di kelas IVB. Hal ini disebabkan oleh pembelajaran yang kurang menarik perhatian dan tidak menarik minat siswa. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui penerapan multimedia interaktif menggunakan powerpoint pada pembelajaran tematik untuk meningkatkan minat belajar siswa kelas IV sekolah dasar. Metode yang digunakan adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang dilaksanakan di salah satu SD Negeri Kota Bandung dengan subjek penelitian kelas IV dengan siswa sebanyak 24 orang terdiri dari 13 orang perempuan dan 11 orang laki-laki semester genap tahun ajaran 2017/2018. PTK ini dilakukan dengan menerapkan multimedia interaktif yang dibuat dengan menggunakan powerpoint dan memuat model pembelajaran interaktif seperti drill, tutorial dan instructional games yang dikemas di dalam pembelajaran tematik. Multimedia interaktif menggunakan powerpoint dibuat dengan menerapkan model ADDIE yaitu analisis, desain, development, implementation and evaluation. Adapun minat belajar siswa diukur melalui lembar observasi dan angket dengan komponen minat belajar meliputi : (1) Perhatian, (2) Relevansi, (3) Percaya Diri, dan (4) Kepuasan. Berdasarkan penelitian ini dapat diketahui bahwa terdapat peningkatan minat belajar yang diukur menggunakan lembar observasi pada siklus 1 sebesar 62.33% menjadi 86,91% pada siklus II, dan peningkatan minat belajar siswa yang diukur menggunakan angket pada siklus I sebesar 74,41% menjadi 78,50 pada siklus II. Berdasarkan data hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan multimedia interaktif menggunakan powerpoint pada pembelajaran tematik dapat meningkatkan minat belajar siswa kelas IV sekolah dasar.-- This research motivated by interest learning of student in IVB class was low. This happened because of the lessons not attract students' attention and student didn’t interest in learning. The purpose of this study is to determine the impact of the implementation of interactive multimedia using powerpoint on thematic learning to increase students' learning interest in grade IV of elementary school. This research is motivated by the low interest in student learning. The method used is Classroom Action Research (CAR) conducted in one of the State Elementary School Bandung with the subject of research is class IV with 24 students of 13 women and 11 men even semester of the academic year 2017/2018. Classroom Action Research is done by applying interactive multimedia created using powerpoint and using interactive learning models such as drill, tutorial and instructional games are packed in thematic learning. Interactive multimedia using powerpoint is created by applying the ADDIE model that is analysis, design, development, implementation and evaluation. The students' interest in learning is measured through an observation sheet and questionnaire with learning interest components including: (1) Attention, (2) Relevance, (3) Self Confidence, and (4) Satisfaction. Based on this research, it can be seen that there is an increase of learning interest which is measured using observation sheet in cycle 1 of 62.33% to 86,91% in cycle II, and improvement of student learning interest which is measured using questionnaire in cycle I equal to 74,41% to 78, 50 in cycle II. Based on the data of the research results can be concluded that the application of interactive multimedia using powerpoint on thematic learning can increase students' interest in grade 4 of elementary school.
