Abstract

Pengembangan bahan ajar aplikasi Smartbook Fisika SMA bertujuan untuk membekali siswa dengan kemampuan konsistensi ilmiah khususnya pada materi listrik statis yang berorientasi pada translasi antar modus representasi dan generating representation dengan basis mobile learning. Model pengembangan yang diterapkan berdasarkan model pengembangan Borg dan Gall. Subjek penelitiannya ialah siswa kelas XII MIA di salah satu sekolah swasta di Kota Bandung. Tahapan pengembangan produk bahan ajar ini menggunakan pendekatan Multimodal Representation. Penelitian ini menggunakan instrumen tes konsistensi ilmiah, translasi antar modus representasi, generating representation, instrumen skala sikap, dan instrumen kualitas bahan ajar. Instrumen uji kelayakan meliputi komponen kesesuaian KD dengan indikator, penulisan konten pada materi ajar, materi ajar dengan tujuan belajar, dan aspek media dengan desain tampilan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pretest posttest control group design. Hasil validasi bahan ajar menunjukkan bahan ajar yang dikembangkan memiliki kualitas dengan kategori baik sekali untuk diterapkan kepada siswa. Peningkatan konsistensi ilmiah siswa yang menggunakan aplikasi Smartbook yang dikembangkan berada dalam kategori sedang. Sedangkan profil translasi antar modus representasi dan generating representation siswa dengan bahan ajar yang dikembangkan menunjukkan hasil lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan siswa yang menggunakan bahan ajar biasa yang digunakan di sekolah. Terdapat perbedaan peningkatan konsistensi ilmiah yang signifikan antara kelompok siswa menggunakan bahan ajar yang dikembangkan dibandingkan siswa yang menggunakan bahan ajar biasa. Berdasarkan uji statistik dan uji dampak diperoleh bahwa bahan ajar berupa aplikasi Smartbook yang dikembangkan lebih efektif dalam meningkatkan konsistensi ilmiah siswa dibandingkan dengan bahan ajar yang biasa digunakan di sekolah. Berdasarkan tanggapan siswa, siswa menyetujui bahan ajar yang dikembangkan dapat memperbaiki cara belajar siswa dan memotivasi siswa dalam belajar fisika.-- Development of teaching materials called Smartbook apps based mobile learning aims to equip students with his special scientific consistency on static electricity materials with translation between representation and generating representation oriented. The development model applied based on Borg and Gall development model. The subject of this research is the students of class XII MIA in one of the private schools in Bandung. Stages of product development of this teaching materials using Multimodal Representation approach. This research uses scientific consistency test instruments, translation between representation, generating representation, attitude scale instrument, and teaching materials quality instrument. The feasibility test instrument includes components of learning objective with indicators, content writing on teaching materials, learning materials with learning objectives, and media aspects with display design. This research uses pretest posttest control group design. The results of validation of teaching materials show that developed materials have a quality with excellent category to apply to students. Increased scientific consistency of students using Smartbook apps developed in the medium category. While the translational profile between the representation and the generating representation of the students using the developed learning materials showed higher results compared to students using the usual teaching materials used in the school. There is a significant difference in the improvement of scientific consistency between the groups of students using the teaching materials developed compared to the students using the usual teaching materials. Based on statistical test and impact test, it is found that teaching materials in the form of Smartbook apps developed more effective in improving students' scientific consistency compared to the teaching materials used in school. Based on students' responses, students agree that the developed materials can improve the way students learn and motivate students in learning physics.
