Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kompetensi profesional guru bahasa Arab dalam merencanakan, melaksanakan, mengevaluasi pembelajaran dan mengungkap faktor pendukung dan faktor penghambat guru dalam meningkatkatkan kualitas lulusan di MA Al-Musdariyah 2 Cimahi. Metodologi penelitian dalam tesis ini menggunakan pendekatan fenomenologi, pendekatan keilmuan, dan pendekatan yuridis formal. Penelitian ini tergolong penelitian studi kasus. Proses pengumpulan data menggunakan data pustaka dan data lapangan dengan cara observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi, kemudian mengulas dan menyimpulkanya. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) kompetensi profesional guru bahasa Arab dalam merencanakan pembelajaran tergolong kurang profesional. Karena guru selalu tidak membuat rencana pelaksanaan pembelajaran (RPP) yang sudah menjadi kewajibannya. (2) kompetensi profesional guru bahasa Arab dalam melaksanakan pembelajaran tergolong profesional, karena berdasarkan penilaian kepala sekolah dalam supervisi dan hasil observasi peneliti bahwa guru bahasa Arab menguasai materi yang diajarkan. (3) kompetensi profesional guru dalam mengevaluasi pembelajaran melahirkan hasil belajar siswa di MA Al-Musdariyah 2 Cimahi masih tergolong kurang. Hal ini terlihat dari kompetensi profesional guru bahasa Arab di MA Al-Musdariyah. Secara administratif belum terlaksana namun secara fungsional sudah menunjukkan adanya peningkatan yang signifikan. Jika guru dapat meningkatkan kompetensi profesionalnya, maka hasil belajar peserta didik dapat meningkat. (4) Faktor pendukung dalam meningkatkan kualitas lulusan di MA Al-Musdariyah 2 Cimahi adalah sertifikasi guru dan jenjang pendidikan Strata 1 sampai III. Adapun faktor penghambatnya adalah sarana dan prasarana yang kurang memadai, kualifikasi akademik belum sesuai, tingkat kedisiplinan guru masih rendah, kurangnya pembinaan, serta kurangnya pelatihan. Implikasi dari penelitian ini bahwa kompetensi profesional guru untuk meningkatkan kualitas lulusan di MA Al-Musdariyah 2 Cimahi telah terlaksana. Namun, dalam proses penerapannya dianggap kurang optimal. Kurang optimalnya kompetensi profesional guru berdampak pada kualitas lulusan. Atau dengan kata lain bahwa tujuan dari proses pembelajaran di MA Al-Musdariyah 2 Cimahi belum tercapai. Sehingga dengan realita seperti itu, maka guru sebagai faktor terpenting dalam pembelajaran harus dapat meningkatkan kompetensinya sebagai manifestasi dalam meningkatkan kualitas lulusan. Kata Kunci: Kompetensi profesional, studi kasus, pembelajaran bahasa Arab ---------- This study aims to determine the professional competence of Arabic teachers in planning, implementing, evaluating learning and uncovering the supporting factors and inhibiting factors of teachers in improving the quality of graduates in MA Al-Musdariyah 2 Cimahi. The research methodology in this thesis uses a phenomenological approach, scientific approach, and formal juridical approach. This research is classified as a case study. The process of collecting data uses library data and field data by observation, interviews, and documentation, then reviews and summarizes them. The results showed that: (1) the professional competence of Arabic language teachers in planning learning was classified as less professional. Because the teacher always does not make a lesson plan (RPP) that has become his obligation. (2) the professional competence of Arabic language teachers in carrying out learning is classified as professional, because based on the evaluation of the principal in supervision and the results of researchers' observations that Arabic teachers master the material taught. (3) The teacher's professional competence in evaluating learning gives birth to student learning outcomes in MA Al-Musdariyah 2 Cimahi is still lacking. This can be seen from the professional competence of Arabic teachers at MA Al-Musdariyah. Administratively it has not been implemented yet functionally it has shown a significant increase. If the teacher can improve his professional competence, the learning outcomes of students can increase. (4) Supporting factors in improving the quality of graduates in MA Al-Musdariyah 2 Cimahi are teacher certification and education levels Strata 1 to III. The inhibiting factors are inadequate facilities and infrastructure, academic qualifications are not appropriate, the level of teacher discipline is still low, lack of guidance, and lack of training. The implication of this study is that the professional competence of teachers to improve the quality of graduates in the MA Al-Musdariyah 2 Cimahi has been implemented. However, the application process is considered less than optimal. The lack of optimal professional competence of teachers has an impact on the quality of graduates. Or in other words that the purpose of the learning process at MA Al-Musdariyah 2 Cimahi has not yet been achieved. So with that reality, the teacher as the most important factor in learning must be able to increase his competence as a manifestation in improving the quality of graduates.
