Abstract
Latihan merupakan kunci yang paling utama demi mencapai kesuksesan untuk mencapai predikat “mampu menulis dengan baik dan benar”. Namun masih banyak siswa yang belum mampu menulis dengan baik dan benar. Salah satu faktor yang membuat hal itu terjadi adalah siswa masih bingung memilih kata untuk menuangkan ide yang ada dalam pikiran mereka, belum bisa merangkai beberapa kata menjadi kalimat serta tulisan siswa yang tidak rapid an kurang jelas dibaca. Oleh karena itu demi mencapai tujuan pembelajaran secara maksimal dalam kegiatan menulis maka diterapkanlah model concept sentence untuk meningkatkan kemampuan menulis kalimat sederhana. Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) ini dilaksanakan di SDN C Bandung dengan subjek penelitian kelas II. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada pembelajaran tematik. Adapun instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah instrumen pembelajaran berupa Rencana Pelaksanaan Pembelajaran (RPP), LKS dan lembar evaluasi sedangkan instrumen penelitian berupa lembar observasi aktivitas model concept sentence, serta lembar kerja kemampuan menulis kalimat sederhana. Pengolahan dan pengumpulan data berdasarkan instrumen yang digunakan. Setelah diterapkannya model concept sentence dalam pembelajaran didapatkan hasil kemampuan menulis kalimat sederhana siswa pada data siklus I dengan rata-rata masih dibawah KKM, dan siklus II dengan rata-rata meningkat di atas KKM. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa pembelajaran dengan menerapkan model concept sentence berbasis media gambar dapat meningkatkan kemampuan menulis kalimat sederhana siswa kelas II Sekolah Dasar.-- Exercise is the most important key in order to achieve success of being "able to write well and correctly". But there are still many students who have not been able to write well and correctly. One of the factors that make it happen is that students are still confused choosing words to express ideas in their minds, not yet able to string a few words into sentences and writings of students who are not rapid an less clearly read. Therefore, in order to achieve the goal of learning maximally in the activity of writing then applied the concept of sentence to improve the ability to write a simple sentence. (PTK) is implemented in SDN C Bandung with the subject of research is students in class II. This research was conducted in thematic learning. The instrument used in this research is learning instrument in the form of Learning Implementation Plan (RPP), (LKS), and evaluation sheet then research instrument in the form of observation concept sentence model sheet, field note, and student worksheet. Processing and data collection based on the instruments used. After the implementation of concept sentence image-based model in the learning, the result of the ability to write simple sentences of students on the first cycle data with an average under KKM, and cycle II with an averagest the top of the KKM. It can be concluded that learning by applying concept sentence image-based model can improve the ability to write simple sentences of elementary school students in grade 2.
