Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi dari hasil pra penelitian yang dilakukan di kelas X MIPA 5 SMA Negeri 24 Bandung. Berdasarkan hasil pra penelitian masalah yang ditemukan adalah sikap nasionalisme yang dimiliki peserta didik kurang terlihat pada pembelajaran PKn. Hal ini disebabkan oleh model pembelajaran dan media pembelajaran yang diterapkan guru kurang menekankan aspek afektif, oleh karena itu peneliti menggunakan model pembelajaran VCT yang dapat mengembangkan sifat afektual dan dapat memberikan pesan nilai moral yang baik ataupun buruk terhadap peserta didik metode yang digunakan adalah penelitian tindakan kelas. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Pelaksanaan model pembelajaran VCT mengalami tiga siklus. Setiap kelompok mendiskusikan dan mengklarifikasi pesan nilai-nilai moral yang terdapat di tayangan film pendek. Hasil penelitian mengungkapkan bahwa sikap Nasionalisme peserta didik mengalami peningkatan di setiap siklusnya setelah menggunakan model pembelajaran VCT (value clarification technique). Sikap Nasionalisme yang dilihat adalah sikap dan rela berkorban, melestarikan budaya Indonesia, Cinta Tanah Air, Menjunjung Tinggi Nilai Kemanusiaan, Bangga Menjadi Bangsa Indonesia. Berdasarkan pemaparan tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahawa model pembelajaran VCT dalam pembelajaran PKn dapat membina sikap Nasionalisme peserta didik. The Implementation of VCT Through Short Film In Civics Media To Foster Students' Nationalism Attitudes (Action Research Class X MIPA 5 Bandung SMA Negeri 24 Bandung). This research is motivated by the results of pre-research conducted in class X MIPA 5 SMA 24 Bandung. Based on the results of the pre-research problem found is the attitude of nationalism possessed by students is less visible in PKn learning. This is caused by the learning model and learning media that are applied by the teacher less emphasizing the affective aspects, therefore the researcher uses the VCT learning model that can develop afellectual traits and can give good or bad moral values to students the method used is classroom action research . Data collection techniques used were interviews, observation, and documentation. The implementation of the VCT learning model has three cycles. Each group discusses and clarifies the message of moral values contained in short film shows. The results of the study revealed that the attitude of Nationalism of students experienced an increase in each cycle after using the VCT learning model (value clarification technique). The attitude of Nationalism that is seen is the attitude and willingness to sacrifice, preserve Indonesian culture, Love the Motherland, Uphold the Value of Humanity, Proud to Be the Indonesian Nation. Based on the explanation it can be concluded that the VCT learning model in Civics learning can foster the attitude of Nationalism of students.
