Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahmya keterampilan kerja sama siswa kelas II SDN S. Hal ini disebabkan karena guru dalam pembelajaran menggunakan metode ceramah dan siswa kurang dibiasakan belajar secara berkelompok. Maka, untuk meningkatkan keterampilan kerja sama siswa, peneliti menerapkan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Team Games Tournament (TGT). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Team Games Tournament (TGT) untuk meningkatkan keterampilan kerja sama siswa kelas II SDN S. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) model Kemmis dan Taggart. Subjek penelitian ini adalah 32 siswa kelas II SDN S. Instrumen penelitian ini terdiri dari lembar observasi aktivitas guru dan siswa, lembar observasi keterampilan kerja sama dan catatan lapangan. Data kualitatif dianalisis dengan menggunakan analisis data Miles dan Huberman yang terdiri dari reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan dan verifikasi. Data kuantitatif dianalisis menggunakan analisis statistik deskripstif. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa rencana pelaksanaan pembelajaran (RPP) yang telah disusun mengimplikasikan peningkatan kualitas pembelajaran, sehingga penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Team Games Tournament (TGT) dapat meningkatkan keterampilan kerja sama siswa kelas II SDN S.;--- This research is motivated by the low skills of cooperation at grade II SDN S. This is because teachers in learning to use the lecture method, and students are less accustomed to study in groups. So, to improve cooperation skills of students, researchers implement cooperative learning model type Team Games Tournament (TGT). This research aimed to describe the implementation of cooperative learning model type Team Games Tournament (TGT) to improve cooperation skills at grade II SDN S. The research use classroom action research (PTK) as method by Kemmis and Taggart. The subject of this research in a student’s II SDN S with total 32 students. The research instrument consisting of teacher and student activity observation, instrument observation of cooperation skills and field notes. The research use qualitative data analysis by Miles and Huberman. Data collected which is consist data reduction, pesentation, conclusion drawing and verification. Quantitative data use statistical descripive analysis. These results indicate that the lesson plan (RPP), which has been compiled implies an increase in the quality of learning, so that the application of cooperative learning model type Team Games Tournament (TGT) may improve cooperation skills at grade II SDN S.
