Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh minimnya pemahaman dan pengetahuan peserta didik, guru, aparatur sipil Negara (ASN), tentang nilai-nilai yang terkandung dalam kearifan lokal Gurindam Dua Belas Karya Raja Ali Haji. Hal ini terjadi karena berbagai kendala yang dihadapi oleh dinas pendidikan dan dinas kebudayaan Propinsi Kepulauan Riau dalam mensosialisasikan nilai-nilai yang terkandung dalam Gurindam Dua Belas kepada peserta didik, guru dan aparatur sipil Negara. Gurindam Dua Belas cenderung dipahami sebatas puisi yang indah dan posternya ditempelkan di berbagai dinding gedung-gedung pemerintahan, ruangan kelas dan di tempat fasilitas umum lainnya. Sejatinya di dalam isi setiap pasal ditemukan kekayaan makna filosofi, pesan moral dan nilai-nilai luhur yang dapat dijadikan sebagai penuntun manusia dalam berperilaku dan bertindak sesuai dengan norma. Pendekatan penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data meliputi observasi, wawancara, dan studi dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Gurindam Dua Belas karya Raja Ali Haji mengandung makna filosofi, pesan moral dan nilai-nilai luhur yang sangat layak diintegrasikan dalam materi tentang kearifan lokal sebagai pembelajaran karakter dan moral; (2) nilai-nilai yang terkandung dalam Gurindam Dua Belas dapat memperkaya bahan ajar materi tentang kearifan lokal diekplorasi dari berbagai aspek seperti agama, pendidikan, sosial, politik, dan dalam kehidupan keluarga; (3) faktor-faktor hambatan dalam pengimplementasiannya terletak pada sumber daya manusia dan sosialisasi dari pemangku kepentingan.-- This research is prompted by the lack of understanding and knowledge of the students, the teachers, and the State Civil Apparatus (ASN) about the values contained in the local wisdom of Gurindam Dua Belas by Raja Ali Haji. This happens because of the various obstacles faced by the education and cultural services of the Riau Island Province in socializing the values contained in Gurindam Dua Belas to students, teachers and the State civil apparatus. Gurindam Dua Belas is understood as a beautiful poem and its posters are posted on various walls of the government buildings, classrooms and other public facilities. Ideally, in the contents of each article found a wealth of philosophical meaning, moral messages and noble values that can be used as guidance for humans to behave and act according to the norms. The research approach is qualitative. The data collection techniques include observation, interviews, and documentation study. The results show that the Gurindam Dua Belas by Raja Ali Haji contains philosophical meanings, moral messages and noble values that are considered appropriate to be integrated in the materials about local wisdom in character and moral education. The values contained in the Gurindam Dua Belas can enrich the teaching materials about local wisdom explored from various aspects such as religion, education, social, politics, and family life. The constraints of the implementation of such education lie in the human resources and socialization from the stakeholders.
