Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan perkembangan dan peningkatan pembelajaran dengan menerapkan model problem based learning menggunakan teknik probing questions. Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya keterampilan bertanya siswa yaitu sebesar 76% siswa belum mampu mengajukan pertanyaan dan membuat pertanyaan. Metode yang digunakan adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang dilaksanakan di salah satu SD Kota Bandung dengan subjek penelitian berjumlah 21 orang siswa kelas III yang terdiri dari 10 orang laki-laki dan 11 orang perempuan semester genap tahun ajaran 2017/2018. PTK ini dilakukan dengan menerapkan model PBL menggunakan teknik probing questionss yang terdiri dari langkah pembelajaran yaitu: (1) orientasi masalah, (2) identifikasi masalah, (3) mengumpulkan informasi, (4) menyajikan karya, dan (5) melakukan evaluasi. Adapun indikator keterampilan bertanya yang diukur dalam penelitian ini meliputi: (1) mampu mengajukan pertanyaan dalam proses pembelajaran secara lisan, (2) pertanyaan yang diajukan relevan dengan materi yang sedang dipelajari, (3) mampu menyusun pertanyaan dengan kata/kalimat secara tepat, (4) mampu membuat pertanyaan dari sebuah permasalahan secara menggali dalam tulisan, dan (5) mampu menjawab pertanyaan dengan efektif. Berdasarkan penelitian ini ditemukan bahwa terdapat peningkatan keterampilan bertanya pada siklus I sebesar 33% meningkat sebesar 62% menjadi 95% pada siklus II. Berdasarkan data hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan model problem based learning menggunakan teknik probing questionss dapat meningkatkan keterampilan bertanya siswa yang dibuktikan dengan peningkatan hasil belajar.;--The purpose of this study was to describe the development and enhancement of learning by applying the model of problem based learning using the technique of probing questionss. This research is based by the low skills of asking students by 76% of students have not been able to ask questionss and make inquiries. The method used is the Classroom Action Research (CAR), which was conducted in one primary school in Bandung to the subject of study amounted to 21 students of third grade students which consisted of 10 boys and 11 girls at second semester of the academic year 2017/2018. PTK is doing by applying the model PBL using the technique of probing questionss comprising the steps of learning, namely: (1) the orientation of the problem, (2) the identification of the problem, (3) to collect information, (4) presents the work, and (5) evaluating. The indicator questionsing skills measured in this study include: (1) be able to ask questionss in the learning process, either orally, (2) questionss relevant to the material being studied, (3) able to prepare questionss with the word / phrase appropriately, ( 4) able to make inquiries of a problem in digging in writing, and (5) be able to answer questionss effectively. Based on this research found that there is an increasing questionsing skills in the first cycle by 33% increased by 62% to 95% in the second cycle.
