Abstract
Permasalahan dalam penelitian ini adalah rendahnya disiplin kerja guru di SMK Pasundan 3 Bandung. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui bagaimana pengaruh dari Komunikasi Interpersonal Kepala Sekolah terhadap Disiplin Kerja Guru di SMK Pasundan 3 Bandung. Teori yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah teori perilaku organisasi dari Fred Luthans. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode survey eksplanasi (eksplanatory survey), teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah kuesioner dengan model Skala Likert. Responden penelitian ini sebanyak 40 guru di SMK Pasundan 3 Bandung. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah regresi sederhana. Hasil penelitian diperoleh informasi bahwa disiplin kerja di SMK Pasudan 3 Bandung sangat tinggi dan komunikasi interpersonal di SMK Pasundan 3 Bandung efektif. Kesimpulan penelitian adalah komunikasi interpersonal memberikan pengaruh positif terhadap disiplin kerja guru. Saran penelitian ini adalah pada variabel komunikasi interpersonal yaitu indikator frekuensi tatap muka rendah oleh sebab itu kepala sekolah sebaiknya meningkatkan frekuensi tatap muka antara guru dan kepala sekolah. ;---Problems in this research is about the low discipline of teacher’s work discipline in SMK Pasundan 3 Bandung. This research was conducted to find out how the influence of Principal Interpersonal Communication on Teacher Work Discipline in SMK Pasundan 3 Bandung. The theory used in this research is the organizational behavior theory of Fred Luthans. This research uses explanatory survey method, data collection technique used is questionnaire with Likert Scale model. Respondents of this study as many as 40 teachers in SMK Pasundan 3 Bandung. Data analysis technique used in this research is simple regression. The results obtained information that the work discipline in SMK Pasundan 3 Bandung is very high and interpersonal communication in school is effective. The conclusion of this research is interpersonal communication give positive influence to teacher’s work discipline. Suggestion in this research is at variable of interpersonal communication, indicator of low face to face frequency therefore principal is required to adjust face-to-face frequency between teacher and principal.
