Abstract
Penelitian ini memberikan gambaran tentang penerapan Blended Learning dalam pembelajaran PPKn untuk membentuk keterampilan abad ke-21. Rancangan penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif. Data diperoleh dari hasil observasi, wawancara dan studi dokumentasi, dengan key informant: Wakasek, guru PPKn, dan siswa. Data dianalisis dengan menggunakan langkah-langkah Reduksi Data, Display Data dan Verifikasi serta dengan menggunakan analisis SWOT. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diperoleh data: (1) Perkembangan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi mendorong guru untuk dapat melakukan inovasi pembelajaran yang lebih menekankan kepada pendekatan yang berorientasi pada kompetensi dengan pemanfaatan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi; (2) Memasuki abad ke-21, peserta didik dihadapkan pada dunia yang lebih menantang sehingga mereka perlu belajar berbagai keterampilan untuk mendukung kesuksesan kehidupannya kelak; (3) PPKn sebagai mata pelajaran yang berfungsi mempersiapkan peserta didik dalam membentuk keterampilan abad ke-21 (creativity thinking and innovation, critical thinking and problem solving, Communication, collaboration) dan karakter warga negara yang baik melalui tiga komponen penting dalam Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan (Civic Knowledge, Civic Skills, dan Civic Disposition); (4) Salah satu tindakan inovasi dalam pembelajaran PPKn yang dapat membentuk keterampilan abad ke-21 dengan memanfaatkan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi melalui penggunaaan blended learning, yaitu pembelajaran yang mengombinasikan strategi penyampaian pembelajaran melalui tiga kegiatan utama: pembelajaran tatap muka (face to face), pembelajaran berbasis komputer (offline), dan melalui penggunaan internet/mobile learning (online). This study provides an overview the implementation of Blended Learning in Civic Education learning to form 21st Century skills. The research design used was a Qualitative Approach. Data were obtained through observations, interviews and documentation studies and by using SWOT analysis. The participants in this study were Vice Principal, Civic Education Teachers and students. Data were analyzed using the steps of Data Reduction, Display Data and Verification. Based on the results of the study, obtained data: (1) The development of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) encourages teachers to be able to carry out learning innovations emphasizing competency-oriented approaches to the use of Information and Communication technology; (2) Entering the 21st Century, students face the more challenging world so that they need to learn various competencies to support the success of their lives (3) Civic Education leaning aims to prepare students to have 21st century competencies (creativity thinking and innovation, critical thinking and problem solving, Communication, collaboration) and good character of citizens through three important components namely Civic Knowledge, Civic Skills, and Civic Disposition; (4) One of innovations in Civic Education learning to form 21st Century skills by utilizing Information and Communication Technology is through the use of Blended Learning, a learning method combining strategies to conduct learning through three main learning sources namely face to face learning, computer-based learning (offline), and through internet/mobile learning (online).
