Abstract

ABSTRAK Skripsi ini merupakan sebuah hasil penelitian yang diberi judul “Proyek Photostory untuk Meningkatkan Kreativitas Siswa dalam Pembelajaran Sejarah (Penelitian Tindakan Kelas di Kelas XI IPS 2 SMAN 7 Bandung)”. Adapun penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh temuan peneliti di Kelas XI IPS 2 SMAN 7 Bandung yang menunjukkan rendahnya kreativitas siswa dalam pembelajaran sejarah padahal kreativitas merupakan hal yang penting untuk dimiliki dan ditumbuhkembangkan pada diri siswa dalam mengikuti pembelajaran sejarah. Temuan-temuan di kelas XI IPS 2 SMAN 7 terkait dengan rendahnya kreativitas siswa diantaranya rendahnya rasa ingin tahu siswa dalam pembelajaran, rendahnya kemampuan mengolah informasi dan rendahnya kemampuan menyajikan informasi dengan kreatif. Penelitian tindakan kelas ini dilaksanakan sebanyak dua siklus yang pada masing-masing siklusnya dilakukan tiga tindakan dengan menggunakan model Dave Ebbut yang prosesnya terdiri dari perencanaan, pelaksanaan, pengamatan, reconnaissance dan refleksi. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan kreativitas siswa dalam pembelajaran sejarah. Aspek kreativitas yang dijadikan indikator pada penelitian ini berdasarkan pendapat Guilford yaitu kelancaran, keluwesan, elaborasi dan orisinalitas yang dikembangkan ke dalam subbab indikator yang telah disesuaikan dengan kebutuhan penelitian. Perolehan skor setiap subindikator dari indikator-indikator kreativitas meraih peningkatan pada setiap siklusnya sehingga dari perolehan skor tersebut dapat diraih suatu hasil peningkatan kreativitas dari siklus I dengan persentase 47% meningkat 31% pada siklus II dengan persentase 78%. Hal tersebut menunjukkan sebuah keberhasilan dari penerapan proyek photostory yang efektif diterapkan dalam pembelajaran sejarah untuk meningkatkan kreativitas siswa. Kata Kunci : penelitian tindakan kelas, pembelajaran berbasis proyek, proyek photostory, kreativitas ABSTRACT This thesis is a research result entitled "Photostory Project to Improve Student Creativity in Historical Learning (Class Action Research in Class XI IPS 2 of SMAN 7 Bandung)". The research was motivated by the findings of researchers in Class XI IPS 2 of SMAN 7 Bandung which showed the low creativity of students in history learning even though creativity was an important thing to have and to develop in students in attending history learning. The findings in the XI IPS 2 class of SMAN 7 are related to the low creativity of students including the students' low curiosity in learning, the low ability to process information and the low ability to present information creatively. This classroom action research was carried out in two cycles, with three actions in each cycle using the Dave Ebbut model whose process consisted of planning, implementing, observing, reconnaissance and reflection. The purpose of this study is to improve students' creativity in learning history. The aspect of creativity that was used as an indicator in this study was based on Guilford's opinion, namely fluency, flexibility, elaboration and originality developed into the indicator sub-section that had been adapted to the needs of the study. Obtaining scores for each subindicator of creativity indicators increases in each cycle so that the acquisition of the score can be achieved by increasing the creativity of the first cycle with the percentage of 47% increasing by 31% in the second cycle with a percentage of 78%. This shows the success of the application of effective photostory projects applied in historical learning to enhance student creativity.
