Abstract
ABSTRAK Skripsi ini berjudul “Pelatihan Ekstrakulikuler Paduan Suara SMP Negeri 5 Bandung dalam Persiapan Lomba Paduan Suara “Bandung Teen Choir Competition 2019””. Penelitian ini mendeskripsikan proses pelatihan paduan suara SMP Negeri 5 Bandung, dengan nama Five Choir dalam rangka persiapan lomba paduan suara “Bandung Teen Choir Competition 2019”. Five Choir adalah salah satu kelompok paduan suara yang lebih unggul dibandingkan dengan kelompok paduan suara di kota Bandung dalam tingkat sederajatnya, dengan diperolehnya prestasi tingkat regional maupun nasional. Fokus penelitian yaitu materi pelatihan, proses, serta hasil pelatihan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu deskriptif analisis dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif yang hasilnya disajikan dalam bentuk paparan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, mayoritas kemampuan anggota yang minim dan batasan waktu persiapan tidak menjadi masalah ketika mengoptimalkan proses latihan dan pemanasan vokal. Kata Kunci: Pelatihan, Paduan suara, Five Choir. ABSTRACT This thesis is entitled “Five Bandung Junior High School Choir Training in Preparation for the Choir Competition “Bandung Teen Choir Competition 2019””. This Study describes the process of training for the Bandung 5 Junior High School, under the name Five Choir in preparation for the choir competition “Bandung Teen Choir Competition 2019”. Five Choir si one of the choir groups that is superior to choir groups in Bandung in the same level, bay obtaining regional and national achievements. The focus of the research is training material, processes, and training results. The research method used in this study is descriptive analysis using a qualitative approach whose results are presented in the from of exposure. Based on the results of the study, the majority of members’ abilities are minimal and the preparation time limit is not a problem when optimizing the training process and vokal warm-up. Keywords: Training, Choir, Five Choir.
