Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini berjudul “Penerapan Metode Drill pada Keyboard untuk Meningkatkan Kemampuan Iringan dalam Kegiatan Ekstrakurikuler di SDN 1 Citalang Purwakarta”, didasari karena di sekolah tersebut tidak ada guru yang bisa melatih siswa-siswinya dalam memainkan alat musik keyboard. Oleh karena itu peneliti mempunyai keinginan agar ada siswa dan siswi dari SDN 1 Citalang yang bisa mengiringi keyboard untuk berbagai kebutuhan seperti untuk kegiatan upacara bendera, pelombaan musik dan sebagainya. Hal ini juga didasari oleh kebijakan dari sekolah tersebut bahwa perlu dibuka kegiatan ekstrakurikuler keyboard untuk peningkatan pembelajaran dalam kegiatan ekstrakurikuler, dengan harapan kelak dapat digunakan pula untuk kegiatan intrakurikuler maupun untuk mengikuti lomba-lomba musik di luar sekolah. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan kemampuan siswa dalam mengiringi lagu. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif yang dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus. Partisipan yang menjadi subjek penelitian yaitu siswa kelas empat yang terdiri dari empat orang siswa pada siklus pertama dan dua orang siswa pada siklus kedua. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui teknik observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil dari proses pelatihan ekstrakurikuler keyboard ini yaitu kehadiran siswa, penguasaan materi dan perbandingan antara pre test dengan post test berdasarkan hasil pengamatan peneliti dengan observer. ABSTRACK This research paper is titled “Application of Drill Methods on the Keyboard to Improve Accompaniment in Extracurricular Activities at Citalang 1 Elementary School Purwakarta”, based on the fact that there were no teachers in the school who could train their students to play keyboard musical instruments. Therefore researchers have a desire that there are students and students from SDN 1 Citalang who can accompany the keyboard for various needs such as flag ceremony activities, music competitions and so on. This is also based on the policy of the school that it is necessary to open keyboard extracurricular activities to increase learning in extracurricular activities, with the hope that later it can also be used for intracurricular activities and to participate in music competitions outside of school. The purpose of this study is to improve students' ability to accompany songs. The research method used in this study is the class action research method (CAR) using a qualitative approach carried out in two cycles. Participants who were the subjects of the study were fourth grade students consisting of four students in the first cycle and two students in the second cycle. Data collection is done through observation, interview, and documentation techniques. The results of the keyboard extracurricular training process are the presence of students, mastery of the material and comparison between pre-test and post-test based on observations of researchers and observers.
