Abstract

Penelitian ini di latarbelakangi oleh kurangnya perilaku peduli lingkungan peserta didik di kelas XI IPS 1 SMAN 1 Leuwiliang.Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah (1) Mengetahui pelaksanaan model Project Based Learning dalam pembelajaran geografi. (2) Mengetahui perilaku siswa setelah memperoleh pembelajaran pengembangan Green Behaviour dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran berbasis proyek. (3)Mengetahui apakah model Project Based Learning dapat mengembangkan green behaviour .Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) dengan pendekatan kuantitatif dan model Project Based Learning. Kemudian model siklus yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah model Lewin menurut Elliott. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas XI IPS 1 Semester Genap SMAN 1 Leuwiliang dengan jumlah siswa 40 orang yang terdiri atas 26 siswa perempuan dan 14 siswa laki-laki. Teknik yang digunakan untuk menentukan sampel penelitian yaitu teknik Total Sampling. Penelitian ini terdiri dari variabel bebas dan variabel terikat dimana instrument yang digunakan yaitu lembar observasi, lembar catatan lapangan,pedoman wawancara dan angket. Teknik analisis yang digunakan mencakup analisis persentase. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa (1) Pelaksanaan model pembelajaran berbasis proyek dalam pembelajaran Geografi di kelas XI IPS 1 SMAN 1 Leuwiliang meliputi pelaksanaan siklus I yang belum berhasil membuat siswa paham akan perilaku Green Behaviour dan siklus II dapat meningkatkan perilaku Green Behaviour siswa mencapai kemampuan yang maksimal. (2) Setelah memperoleh pembelajaran pengembangan Green Behaviour dengan menggunakan model tersebut perilaku siswa terlihat sangat lebih peduli terhadap lingkungan karena mereka mengetahui teori dalam pembelajaran serta contoh di lingkungan sekitar. (3) Model Project Based Learning pada pembelajaran Geografi dapat mengembangkan Green Behaviour siswa di kelas XI IPS 1 SMAN 1 Leuwiliang.---- The research is based on the lack of the students’environmental caring behaviour in class XI IPS 1 SMAN 1 Leuwiliang, the objective of research of objectives of this research are (1) to know the implementation of Project Based Learning model in geography learning. (2) to know the students behavior after obtaining Green Behavior learning using Project Based Learning model (3) to find out if the Project Based Learning model can develop green behaviour. The method used in this research is Classroom Action Research Method (PTK) with quantitative approach and Project Based Learning model. Then the cycle model used in this study is Lewin's model according to Elliott. The subjects of this research is 40 students in XI Social 1 of SMAN 1 Leuwiliang which is consisting of 26 females and 14 males, The technique used to determine the research sample is Total Sampling technique. This research consists of independent and dependent variable. The instruments used are observation sheets, field note sheets, interview guides and questionnaires. The analysis technique used included percentage analysis. The results of this study indicate that (1) the implementation of Project Based Learning model on geography learning in class XI Social 1 SMAN 1 Leuwiliang includes the implementation of Cycle 1 hasn't succeeded in making students understand the Green Behavior meanwhile Cycle 2 can improve students Green Behavior and they can reach maximum ability. (2) after develop Green Behavior learning, students behavior look more concerned about the environment because they know the theory in learning and the examples in the environment. (3) Project Based Learning model on Geography learning can develop Green Behavior of students in class XI IPS 1 SMAN 1 Leuwiliang.
