Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang dan membangun multimedia pembelajaran berbasis adventure game dengan model problem solving untuk meningkatkan pemahaman siswa pada mata pelajaran pemrograman web. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah 1) Menganalisis rancang dan membangun multimedia interaktif berbasis adventure game dengan model problem solving pada mata pelajaran pemrograman web. 2) Menganalisis peningkatan pemahaman siswa setelah menggunakan multimedia pembelajaran interaktif berbasis adventure game dengan model problem solving pada mata pelajaran pemrograman web 3) Menganalisis respon siswa terhadap multimedia pembelajaran interaktif berbasis adventure game dengan model problem solving. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode Research and Development (R&D). Multimedia yang telah dikembangkan dan divalidasi oleh ahli media dan ahli materi kemudian diimplementasikan kepada siswa kelas X TKJ di SMK. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini didapatkan 1) multimedia pembelajaran interaktif berbasis adventure game dengan model problem solving yang telah dikembangkan dinilai sangat baik dan layak digunakan dengan rata-rata presentase 83.70%m termasuk ke dalam kategori sangat baik oleh ahli media dan 97.78%, termasuk kedalam kategori sangat baik oleh ahli materi. 2) kelas menggunakan multimedia pembelajaran berbasis adventure game dapat uji gain sebesar 0.48 dan kelas tanpa menggunakan multimedia dapat uji gain sebesar 0.20. hal tersebut multimedia pembelajaran berbasis adventure game meningkatkan pemahaman siswa lebih tinggi yaitu 48% termasuk kedalam kategori tinggi dibanding tanpa menggunakan multimedia yaitu sebesar 20% termasuk kedalam kategori rendah. 3) siswa memberikan penilaian sangat baik dengan hasil presentase 81.72%. ;---This research aimed at designing and development interactive multimedia learning based on adventure game with problem solving model to improve understanding students on web programming. The aims of this research are 1) Analyzing design and development interactive multimedia learning based on adventure game with problem solving model on web programming. 2) Analyzing understanding student’s improvement after use interactive multimedia learning based on adventure game with problem solving model. 3) Analyzing the response of leaners toward interactive multimedia learning based on adventure game with problem solving model. The method use in this research is Research and Development (R&D). Multimedia learning that has been developed and validated by media expert and subject matter expert then implemented to student’s class X TKJ at SMK. Based on the results of this research are 1) working paper based on multimedia adventure game using problem solving model has been developed, gaining very good scoring and paper to be used with properness percentage 83.7%, included into very good category by the media expert and 97.78%, included into very good category by material expert.2) the result of a gain class use interactive multimedia learning based on adventure game with problem solving has been 0.48 and then the result of a gain class without multimedia has been 0.20. Thus, the interactive multimedia learning based on adventure game with problem solving model can improve understanding student’s as higher as 48% include into nomal category, meanwhile without using multimedia is only 20% included into low category. 3) The students gave very good score toward student working paper based on multimedia adventure game with problem solving model with percentage score 81.72%.
