Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk melakukan pemetaan kompetensi sekolah
kejuruan berbasis potensi daerah menggunakan Sistem Informasi Geografis (SIG) di
Kabupaten Tangerang. Metode yang digunakan yaitu metode analisis deskriptif.
Partisipan terdiri dari 172 sekolah kejuruan, 12 sekolah kejuruan negeri dan 160 sekolah
kejuruan swasta. Analisis data menggunakan LQ dan PCA. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan
10 kecamatan memiliki potensi industri, 14 kecamatan memiliki potensi peternakan, 4
kecamatan memiliki potensi perikanan, dan 19 kecamatan memiliki potensi pertanian.
Kesimpulan program studi keahlian yang dibutuhkan di sekolah kejuruan di Kabupaten
Tangerang adalah agrobisnis dan agroteknologi serta perikanan.----The purpose of this study is to mapping the competency of vocational schools based on
local potential using Geographic Information System (GIS) in Tangerang district. The
method used is descriptive research. Participants consisted of 172 vocational schools, 12
public vocational schools and 160 private vocational schools. Data analysis using LQ and
PCA. The results showed 10 districts have industrial potential, 14 districts have farming
potential, 4 districts have fishery potential, and 19 districts have agricultural potential.
The conclusions of skill study programs needed in vocational schools in Tangerang
district are agribusiness and agrotechnology and fisheries.
