Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu menghasilkan deskripsi analisis perbandingan tentang konsep pendidikan Waldorf dalam karya Rudolf Steiner dengan konsep pendidikan nasional Republik Indonesia. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode studi kepustakaan dan sumber yang digunakan yaitu enam buku karya Rudolf Steiner tentang konsep pendidikan Waldorf. Hasil penelitian mencakup rumusan tujuan pendidikan, hakikat pendidik, hakikat peserta didik, isi pendidikan, dan alat pendidikan. Rumusan tujuan pendidikan Waldorf yaitu potensi diri yang berkembang optimal dan partisipasi aktif dalam kehidupan bermasyarakat. Untuk mencapai tujuan tersebut, pendidik Waldorf diharapkan untuk mampu memahami dirinya, memahami peserta didik, dan memahami dunia. Peserta didik dikelompokkan dalam tiga periode kehidupan. Namun, penelitian ini hanya mengkaji dua periode kehidupan. Isi pendidikan yang diberikan kepada peserta didik mencakup pendidikan moral dan religius, kegiatan artistik, bahasa, euritmik, menggambar, menulis dan membaca, ilmu pengetahuan alam, sejarah dan geografi, serta pengetahuan tentang praktek kehidupan. Alat pendidikan yang digunakan yaitu cinta dan kasih sayang, teladan, otoritas natural, serta pendekatan artistik. Implikasi hasil penelitian ini adalah relevansi konsep pendidikan Waldorf dalam karya Rudolf Steiner dengan konsep pendidikan nasional Republik Indonesia.---- The purpose of this study is to produce a description of comparative analysis about the concept of Waldorf education in the Rudolf Steiner’s work with the concept of national education in the Republic of Indonesia. This research uses library research method and the source used is six books by Rudolf Steiner about Waldorf education concepts. The results of this research include the formulation of educational goals, educators, educands, educational content, and educational means. Waldorf education’s educational goals formulation are the optimum self-development potential and active participation in the society. To achieve those goals, Waldorf educators are expected to understand themselves, understand educands, and understand the world. Learners are grouped into three life periods. However, this study only examines two periods of life. Educational contents which are given to educands included moral and religious education, artistic, linguistic, euritmics, drawing, writing, and reading activities, natural sciences, history and geography, and knowledge of practical life. The educational means used are love and affection, model, natural authority, and artistic approach. The implication of this study is the relevance of educational concepts in Rudolf Steiner’s work to the concept of national education in the Republic of Indonesia.
