Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh pentingnya motor educability terhadap proses belajar gerak, beserta hubungannya dengan kemampuan gerak dasar manipulatif siswa dimana kemampuan ini berperan penting dalam diri siswa, terutama kaitannya dengan keterampilan yang mengharuskan siswa untuk dapat memanipulasi objek. Salah satu bentuk permainan memanipulasi objek ialah handball like games. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode penelitian deskriptif,dengan populasi yaitu seluruh siswa SMP PGRI Mekarmanik.Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan purposive sampling dimana hanya siswa kelas VII yang menjadi sampel sebanyak 58 Orang. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan yaitu tes IOWA/Brace untuk motor educability dan tes kemampuan gerak manipulatif siswa dalam handball like games . Berdasarkan hasil pengolahan dan analisis data dengan hasil perhitungan korelasi sebesar 0,946, serta hasil uji signifikansi 0,000 < 0,05 yang menunjukan bahwa hubungan antara motor educability dengan kemampuan gerak dasar manipulatif dalam handball like games ada pada tingkat hubungan yang “kuat”.Berdasarkan temuan tersebut, disimpulkan bahwa bahwa terdapat korelasi yang signifikan antara motor educability dengan kemampuan gerak dasar manipulatif dalam permainan handball like games siswa kelas VII SMP PGRI Mekarmanik.;---This research is motivated by the importance of motor educability to the learning process of motion, along with its relation with the basic motion of student manipulative skill where this ability plays an important role in students, especially in relation to skills that require students to be able to manipulate objects. One form of game manipulating objects is handball like games. The research method used is descriptive research method, with the population that is all students in SMP PGRI Mekarmanik. Teknik sampling using purposive sampling wich just students grade VII. The research instrument used is IOWA / Brace test for motor educability and manipulative skills test in handball like games. Based on the results of processing and data analysis with the result of correlation calculation of 0.946, and with sginifican correlation 0,000<0,05 which shows that the relationship between motor educability with manipulative skill capabilities in handball like games exist at the level of "strong" relationship. Based on these findings, it was concluded that there is a significant correlation between motor educability with manipulative skills in handball games like games on class VII students SMP PGRI Mekarmanik.
