Abstract
Penelitian yang dilaksanakan pada salah satu Sekolah Dasar di Kecamatan Sukasari Kota Bandung ini dilatar belakangi oleh rendahnya keterampilan siswa dalam berpikir kritis . Hal ini disebabkan penerapan pembelajaran IPS masih menggunakan metode konvensional. Penelitian ini ditujukan untuk mengetahui pelaksanaan dan peningkatan kemampuan berpikir siswa dalam pembelajaran IPS dengan menerapkan pendekatan problem posing dengan metode skemata kritis. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang mengadaptasi model Kemmis & Mc. Taggart yang terdiri dari dua siklus. Penelitian dilakukan dalam setiap siklus dengan beberapa tahapan yang terdiri dari perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi, dan refleksi. Subjek penelitian ini adalah 37 siswa kelas IV SDN H. teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, Lembar Kerja Siswa dan lembar evaluasi. Setelah menerapkan pendekatan problem posing dengan metode skemata kritis, diperoleh hasil penelitian keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa mengalami peningkatan pada setiap indikator. Perbandingan persentase siklus I dan II pada indikator satu sebesar 42%, indikator kedua yaitu 22%, pada indikator ketiga yaitu sebesar 21%, pada indikator keempat yaitu 38%, indikator kelima yaitu 30%, sedangkan pada indikator keenam yaitu 2%, dan pada indikator ketujuh sebesar 55%, dan pada indikator terakhir yaitu sebesar 41%. Simpulan dari penelitian ini, yaitu dengan menerapkan pendekatan problem posing dengan metode skemata kritis dapat meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa dalam pelajaran IPS di SD kelas IV SDN H. oleh karena itu, peneliti merekomendasikan kepada guru untuk menerapkan pembelajaran pendekatan problem posing dengan metode skemata kritis dalam proses pembelajaran sehinggan mampu mengembangkan keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa.---- Research carried out at elementary schools in Sukasari Bandung this event will be based by the low skills of students in the opinion. This is due to the application of IPS still learning using conventional methods. This study aimed to find out the implementation and improvement of students ' thinking ability in the social science learning by applying the approach of problem posing with the method's schemata was critical. the methods used in this research is the Research Action class (PTK) who adapted the model Kemmis & Mc. Taggart consisting of two cycles. Research is conducted in several phases with each cycle comprising planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The subject of this research are 37 grade IV elementary school H. data collection technique is done through observation, Student Worksheets and evaluation sheets. After applying the approach of problem posing with the methods of critical's schemata, obtained research results of students ' critical thinking skills has increased on each indicator. A comparison of the percentage of cycles I and II on the indicator one of 42%, the second indicator that is 22%, in the third indicator i.e. amounting to 21%, in the fourth, namely indicator 38%, the fifth indicator that is 30%, whereas in the sixth indicator that is 2%, and on the seventh indicator amounted to 55%, and on the last indicator i.e. amounting to 41%. A summary of this research, namely by applying the approach of problem posing with the methods of critical's schemata can enhance critical thinking skills of students in social science lesson in elementary grade IV elementary school H. therefore, researchers recommend to teachers to implement learning approaches problem posing with the method's schemata was critical in the process of learning sehinggan able to develop critical thinking skills of students.
