Abstract

Permasalahan dalam penelitian ini adalah ketuntansan hasil belajar peserta didik kelas X TKR 2 di SMKN 6 Bandung pada kompetensi dasar menggunakan alat ukur mekanik sebesar 63,48%, sedangkan nilai kriteria ketuntasan minimum (KKM) sebesar 75%. Metode pembelajaran ceramah menjadi permasalahan yang mempengaruhi ketuntasan hasil belajar peserta didik, karena dalam pelaksanaannya, metode ceramah harus memerlukan keterampilan khusus. Metode Pembelajaran drill merupakan metode pembelajaran yang bersifat latihan. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui hasil belajar peserta didik setelah dilakukan pembelajaran menggunakan meode drill pada kompetensi dasar menggunakan alat ukur mekanik. Desain Penelitian ini menggunakan pre-eksperimental design dengan one group, pretest posttest design. Teknik pengumpulan data melalui soal pretest dan soal posttest. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah kelas X TKR di SMKN 6 Bandung tahun ajaran 2017/2018 dengan jumlah 6 kelas dan jumlah peserta didik 216 orang. Teknik sampel menggunakan nonprobability sampling dengan purposive sampling. Sampel pada penelitian ini adalah kelas X TKR 1 dengan jumlah 35 peserta didik. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diperoleh bahwa 1) Metode pembelajaran drill bisa meningkatkan hasil belajar peserta didik. 2) Gambaran penerapan metode pembelajaran drill pada kompetensi menggunakan alat ukur mekanik bisa meningkatkan hasil belajar peserta didik dengan cara menginstruksikan peserta didik melakukan latihan berulang-ulang menggunakan alat ukur mekanik. 3) Peningkatan hasil belajar pada penerapan metode pembelajaran drill mendapatkan KKM dengan predikat tuntas.---- The problem of this research is the result of learning result of class X TKR 2 students in SMKN 6 Bandung on basic competence using mechanical measuring instrumen equal to 63,48%, while minimum score criterion value (KKM) equal to 75%. Learning method of lecture becomes a problem that influences mastery learners learn result, because in its implementation, lecture method must require special skill. Drill learning method is a learning method that is exercise. The purpose of this study to determine the learning outcomes of learners after learning using drill meode on basic competence using a mechanical measuring tool. Design this research uses pre-experimental design with one group, pretest posttest design. Data collection techniques through pretest and posttest questions. The population in this study is class X TKR in SMKN 6 Bandung academic year 2017/2018 with the number of 6 classes and the number of students 216 people. The sample technique uses nonprobability sampling with purposive sampling. Sample in this research is class X TKR 1 with amount of 35 students. Based on the research results obtained that 1) Drill learning method can improve learning outcomes of learners. 2) The description of the application of drill learning methods on competence using a mechanical measuring tool can improve students' learning outcomes by instructing learners to do repetitive exercises using a mechanical measuring tool. 3) Improvement of learning outcomes on the application of drill learning methods to obtain KKM with a complete predicate.
