Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya keterampilan sosial siswa yang dilihat dari aspek kerja sama, komunikasi dan pengaturan diri kelas IV salah satu SD di Kecamatan Sukasari. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui peningkatan keterampilan sosial siswa dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe NHT di kelas IV Sekolah Dasar. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) mengadaptasi dari Kemmis dan Mc. Taggart. Penelitian ini dilakukan dalam tiga siklus. Dari data yang terkumpul, selama pelaksanaan penelitian tersebut ternyata memperoleh hasil yang meningkat dari setiap siklusnya. Adapun hasil akhir keterampilan sosial siswa pada siklus I yaitu 63,22, kemudian pada siklus II terjadi peningkatan yaitu 78,54, dan pada siklus III 90,42. Berdasarkan data yang diperoleh, dapat disimpulkan bahwa model kooperatif tipe NHT dapat meningkatkan keterampilan sosial siswa.---- This study is grounded by the low social skills of students that seen from the aspects of cooperation, communication and self-regulation the IV-th grade students in the one of elementary school in Sub-district of Sukasari. The purpose of this study is to know the improvement of social skills of students by using NHT type cooperative learning model in IV-th grade of elementary school. The research method used in this study is Classroom Action Research (CAR) adapting from Kemmis and Mc. Taggart. This study was conducted in three cycles. From the data collected, during the implementation of the research turned out to get increased results from each cycle. The final result of social skills of students in cycle-I is 63.22, then in cycle-II there is increases that is 78.54, and at cycle-III 90,42. Based on the data obtained, it can be concluded that the NHT type cooperative model can improve students' social skills.
