Abstract

Diperolehnya hasil belajar yang rendah pada mata pelajaran Basic Skill kompetensi mengukur dengan alat ukur mekanik presisi dengan nilai rata-rata tidak memenuhi KKM (Keriteria Kelulusan Minimal) sebesar 75 pada siswa kelas X TPU di SMK Negeri 12 Bandung sebesar 41,18%. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk memperbaiki proses belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran Basic Skill kompetensi mengukur dengan alat ukur mekanik presisi menggunakan model pembelajaran Levels of Inquiry pada siswa kelas X TP 13 di SMK Negeri 6 Bandung. Metode penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) yang digunakan terdiri dari tiga siklus. Hasil rata-rata penelitian menunjukan bahwa peningkatan hasil belajar siswa untuk setiap siklusnya dilihat dari hasil pretest dan posttest; siklus I pretest 15,41 dan posttest 70,61 (meningkat 55,20), siklus II pretest 19,22 dan posttest 73,16 (meningkat 53,94), siklus III pretest 35 dan posttest 79,50 (meningkat 44,68). Dari analisis data penelitian yang diperoleh dilapangan maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran Levels of Inquiry dapat memperbaiki proses belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran Basic Skill kompetensi mengukur dengan alat ukur mekanik presisi pada siswa kelas X TPU 13 di SMK Negeri 12 Bandung.----Based on the students test achievement, 41,18% of students did not reach the criteria minimum score, which was the criteria minimum score for the students of 10th subject of basic skill was 75. The aimed of this research was for improving the students learning process in subject of Basic Skill precision mechanical measuring instrument competency by using Levels of Inquiry for the students of 10th grade TP U13 at SMK Negeri 12 Bandung. There were three cycles for this classroom action research. The results of the research showed that there were improvement in the students learning achievement in every cycles. It looked based on the result of pre-test and post-test: in the first cycle the pre-test result was 15.41 and the post-test result was 70.61 (the improvement was 55,20). In the second cycle the pre test was 19.22 and the post test was 73.16 (the improvement was 53.94). In the third cycle the pre test was 35.00 and the post test was 79.50 (the improvement is 44.68). Based on data analysis in the field it can be concluded that the application of Levels of Inquiry can improve the students learning process in the subject of Basic Skill precision mechanical measuring instrument competency to the students of 10th grade of TPU 13 at SMK Negeri 12 Bandung.
