Abstract
Sebuah penelitian mengenai penerapan asesmen kinerja pada pembelajaran berbasis STEM telah dilakukan untuk mengungkap kreativitas dan kolaborasi siswa SMP pada materi Sistem Organisasi Kehidupan. Siswa kelas VII pada salah satu SMP Negeri di Kabupaten Cianjur telah dilibatkan sebagai partisipan penelitian (n=34). Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan berupa tes kreativitas gambar, tes berpikir logis, rubrik kreativitas untuk menilai desain dan produk model sel hewan dan tumbuhan, rubrik kolaborasi, dan angket tanggapan siswa. Indikator kreativitas yang dinilai terdiri dari fluency, elaboration, originality dan abstractness of title. Rubrik kreativitas telah divalidasi oleh dosen ahli dengan nilai CVR rubrik berada pada kategori valid (0,905). Data kreativitas dan kolaborasi dianalisis menggunakan nilai rata-rata. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan kreativitas siswa dalam membuat desain model sel yaitu 11,79 % berada pada kategori excelling, 55,88 % kategori expressing, 26,47 % kategori emerging dan 5,88% kategori not yet evidence. Kolaborasi siswa saat membuat desain model sel berada pada kategori sangat baik (38,24%), baik (11,76%), cukup (35,29%), kurang (5,88%) dan kurang sekali (8,82%). Kolaborasi siswa saat membuat produk model sel berada pada kategori sangat baik (41,18 %), baik (26.74%) dan cukup (32,35%). Nilai kolaborasi saat membuat produk model sel (81,99) lebih tinggi daripada kolaborasi saat membuat desain model sel (76,65). Tingkat perkembangan intelektual siswa memiliki korelasi yang rendah dengan kreativitas dan kolaborasi. Hasil angket menunjukkan bahwa siswa memberikan respon positif terhadap penerapan asesmen kinerja pada pembelajaran STEM. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah asesmen kinerja yang diterapkan dalam pembelajaran STEM dapat mengungkap kreativitas dan kolaborasi siswa dalam membuat desain dan produk model sel.---- A study about the implementation of performance assessment on STEM-based learning was conducted to investigate students' creativity and collaboration in life organization system concept. Seventh grade students from one junior high school in Cianjur were involved as participant (n=34). The main instrument was Torrance Test of Creative Thinking-Figural, Test of Logical Thinking, rubric on creativity design and product of animal/plant cell models, rubric on collaboration, and student questionnaires. The indicator of creativity included fluency, elaboration, originality, and abstractness of title. The instrument for creativity rubrics was validated by expert judgment, with CVR value in valid category (0,905). Data were analyzed using average score. Research findings show that student’s creativity in making cell model design is in the excelling category (11,79 %), expressing category (55,88 %), emerging category (26,74 %), and not yet evident category (5,88 %). Student’s collaboration when designing cell model designs is in excellent category (38,24%), good category (11,76%), fair category (35,29%), less category (5,88%) and less once (8,82%). Student collaboration when making cell model product is in excellent category (41,18%), good category (26,7%) and fair category (32,35%). Collaboration score when creating a cell model product (81,99) is higher than collaboration when creating a cell model design (76,65). There are low correlation between logical thinking skills and student’s creativity & collaboration. Students gave positive respond to the implementation of performance assessment on STEM-based learning. These results indicate that the implementation of performance assessment on STEM-based learning can reveal student’s creativity and collaboration in designing and making cell model product.
