Abstract
Dalam penelitian ini, peneliti mencoba menerapkan teknik permainan Virelangue dalam pembelajaran pelafalan kalimat sederhana bahasa Perancis terhadap siswa kelas XI IBBU SMAN 1 Rancaekek Tahun Ajaran 2016/2017. Tujuan dari penelitian untuk mendeskripsikan (1) langkah-langkah yang dilakukan dalam proses pelaksanaan pembelajaran pelafalan kalimat sederhana bahasa Perancis dengan menggunakan teknik permainan Virelangue, (2) seberapa besar tingkat kemampuan pelafalan kalimat sederhana bahasa Perancis setelah menggunakan teknik permainan Virelangue, dan (3) tanggapan siswa tentang teknik permainan Virelangue dalam pembelajaran pelafalan kalimat sederhana bahasa Perancis. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu metode penelitian praeksperimen dengan desain penelitian one shot case study. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah tes dan angket. Sampel dari penelitian ini adalah karakteristik kemampuan pelafalan kalimat sederhana bahasa Perancis siswa kelas XI IBBU SMAN 1 Rancaekek Tahun Ajaran 2016/2017 yang berjumlah 32 orang. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data diperoleh nilai rata-rata sebesar 7,8 yang berada pada rentang niali 7,6-8,5, yang berarti kemampuan pelafalan kalimat sederhana bahasa Perancis siswa berada pada interval 76% - 85% dan termasuk dalam nilai 8 dari perhitungan presentase skala sepuluh. Nilai rata-rata tersebut menunjukan bahwa kemampuan pelafalan kalimat sederhana bahasa Perancis siswa kelas XI IBBU SMAN 1 Rancaekek dapat dikategorikan baik. Mengacu kepada hasil analisis angket, peneliti dapat menyimpulkan bahwa lebih dari setengah jumlah siswa (59%) termotivasi untuk mengikuti pembelajaran pelafalan bahasa Perancis; sehingga mereka (66%) tertarik untuk melatih pelafalan bahasa Perancis mereka lebih dalam dengan menggunakan permainan Virelangue; dan sebagian besar siswa (72%) menyatakan bahwa teknik permainan Virelangue sangat menyenangkan, menarik dan menantang serta memudahkan dalam melatih pelafalan. Dengan demikian, melalui hasil penelitian ini, diharapkan teknik permainan Virelangue dapat dijadikan sebagai salah satu teknik permainan alternatif yang dapat diterapkan oleh pengajar bahasa asing dan dapat dijadikan referensi untuk penelitian selanjutnya yang lebih baik.---- In this study, the researchers tried to apply the Virelangue game technique in learning the pronunciation of simple sentences in French against the students of Class XI IBBU SMAN 1 Rancaekek school year 2016/2017.The purpose of the study was to describe (1) the steps that was undertaken in the process of implementing a simple French sentence pronunciation by using the Virelangue game techniques (2) How much is the level of a simple French sentence after using the Virelangue game technique (3) Student’s feedbacks about the Virelangue game technique on learning the pronunciation of simple sentences in French . The research method that was used in this study was pre-experimental research method with one-shot case study design study. The research instrument that was used in this research were test and questionnaire. The sample of this research was the characteristic ability of the pronunciation of simple sentences in French on the grade XI IBBU SMAN 1 Rancaekek school year 2016/2017 that amounted to 32 people. Based on the data analysis result then the average value is 7.8 which is located in the range of 7,6-8,5, that means the ability of the students in the pronunciation of simple sentences in French are at intervals of 76%-85% and value of 8 on calculation a scale percentage of ten. The average value indicates that the ability of students of class X1 SMAN 1 Rancaekek can be categorized good. By referring to the questionnaire analysis result, the researcher can conclude that more than half of the students (59%) are motivated to follow the French pronunciation learning; So that they (66%) are interested in practicing their French pronunciation more deeply by using the Virelangue games technique. And the most students (72%) stated that the Virelangue game technique was fun, exciting and challenging and easy to practice pronunciation. Thus, through the results of this study, shows that the Virelangue game technique can be used as one of the alternative game techniques that can be applied by foreign language teachers and can be used as reference for further research better.
