Abstract
Berdasarkan hasil pengamatan pemahaman konsep peserta didik dalam pembelajaran geografi yang masih tergolong rendah. Dibutuhkan media pembelajaran yang tepat dalam peningkatan pemahaman konsep siklus hidrologi peserta didik yaitu dengan menggunakan media video animasi. Menggunakan video animasi dengan desain penelitian eksperimen terdiri dari kelas eksperimen dan kontrol. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan diantara kedua kelas. Kelas eksperimen mengalami peningkatan skor n-gain 15,63%, sedangkan kelas kontrol hanya mencapai 8,34%. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa pengaruh pemahaman konsep siklus hidrologi peserta didik dengan menggunakan video animasi pada kelas eksperimen lebih baik daripada kelas yang tidak menggunakan video animasi.;---Based on the observation of students understanding of the concept of geography learning is still relatively low. It takes the right learning media in improving understanding of hydrological cycle concept of learners that is by using video animation media. Using animated video with experimental research design consisting of experiment and control class. The results showed that there were differences between the two classes. The experimental class experienced an increase of n-gain score of 15.63%, while the control class only reached 8.34%. This suggests that the effect of understanding the concept of the hydrological cycle of learners by using animated video in the experimental class is better than the class that does not use video animation.
