Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh adanya penurunan hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran ekonomi yang ditunjukan oleh nilai rata-rata UN SMA Negeri se-Kota Bandung Wilayah Barat tahun ajaran 2014/2015 dan 2015/2016, dari 61,15 turun menjadi 53,07 selisih dari penurunan tersebut mencapai 8,08. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis pengaruh locus of control terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran ekonomi. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu survei eksplanatori, dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui angket. Responden dalam penelitian ini siswa kelas XI IIS SMA Negeri Se-Kota Bandung Wilayah Barat sebanyak 204 siswa. Data yang terkumpul kemudian dianalisis menggunakan regresi sederha. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa: (1) locus of control berada pada kategori sedang, artinya siswa cukup merasa percaya diri, berusaha keras, mandiri serta percaya kepada nasib dan lingkungannya ketika menerima pembelajaran di sekolah; (2), hasil belajar berada pada kategori tinggi, ini berarti bahwa siswa sudah sepenuhnya optimal ketika menerima pembelajaran di sekolah; (3) locus of control berpengaruh terhadap hasil belajar siswa.;---This research background is the decrease of students’ learning outcomes in economics subjects which is shown by the average value of National Examination at State Senior High School in entire of Bandung City West Region in academic year 2014/2015 and 2015/2016, from 61.15 down to 53.07, it make the difference from the decline reached 8.08. This research aims to determine and analyze the influence of Locus Of Control on students’ learning outcomes in economics subjects. The research method that used is explanatory survey using technique of data collection through questionnaire. Respondents in this research are XI IIS grade students of State Senior High School in entire of Bandung City West Region as many as 204 students. The data collected were analyzed using simple regression. The results show that: (1) locus of control is in the moderate category, it means that students are sufficiently confident, strive, independent and believe in their fate and environment when receiving learning in the school; (2), students’ learning outcomes are in the high category, it means that students are fully optimized when receiving learning in the school; (3) locus of control influenced on students’ learning outcomes.
