Abstract
Menulis merupakan salah satu aspek kebahasaan yang harus dilatihkan kepada siswa yang bertujuan agar siswa dapat menuangkan ide, gagasan, dan pengalamannya ke dalam bentuk tulisan. Namun pada kenyataannya siswa kesulitan dalam menulis kalimat sederhana bahasa Arab yang menyebabkan rendahnya kemampuan menulis. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat mengatasi permasalahan yang dialami oleh siswa melalui penggunaan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Make A Match. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kemampuan menulis kalimat sederhana bahasa Arab siswa setelah menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Make A Match, efektivitas model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Make A Match dalam peningkatan kemampuan menulis kalimat sederhana bahasa Arab, dan respons siswa terhadap penggunaan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Make A Match. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah eksperimen kuasi dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Teknik pengambilan sampel yaitu purposive sampling dengan desain non-equivalent control group design. Sampel penelitian yaitu kelas X IIS A sebagai kelas kontrol dan kelas X IIS B sebagai kelas eksperimen. Hasil nilai rata-rata pretest di kelas kontrol dan eksperimen yaitu sebesar 69,86 dan 67,86 dan hasil nilai rata-rata posttest yaitu sebesar 76,40 dan 82,16. Berdasarkan hasil perhitungan Uji hipotesis nonparametrik Mann-Whitney didapat hasil sebesar 0,02. Dengan demikian, Ha diterima dan Ho ditolak karena 0,02 < 0,05, artinya terdapat efektivitas penggunaan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Make A Match dalam peningkatan kemampuan menulis kalimat sederhana bahasa Arab. Berdasarkan hasil uji N-gain didapatkan hasil sebesar 0,36 yang menunjukkan tingkat efektivitas berada pada kategori sedang karena 0,7 > gain > 0,3. Berdasarkan hasil angket respons siswa terhadap penggunaan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Make A Match didapatkan hasil sebesar 67,61% dengan kategori tinggi didasarkan pada kriteria interpretasi skor. Hal tersebut menunjukkan bahwa siswa memiliki respons yang tinggi terhadap penggunaan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Make A Match;--- Writing is one of the linguistic aspects that have to be practiced by students in order to be able to express their ideas, opinions, and experiences in written form. But in reality the students have some troubles in writing simple sentences in Arabics. Hence, they have low skill in writing. This research is expected to solve this problem using cooperative learning model Make A Match. The purpose of this research is to know the students’ skill in writing simple sentences in Arabics after applying this learning model and the effectivity of this learning model in attempt to increase the students’ skill. The purpose is also to see how students’ responses toward the learning style applied. The method used in this research is quasi experimental with quantitative approach. The technique of sampling is using purposive sampling with non-equivalent control group design. Samplesof this research areX IIS A class as control class and S IIS B as experiment class. Meansof pretest are 69,86 and 67,86, and the mean score of posttest are 76,40 and 82,16. The score of Mann-Whitney nonparametric hypothesis test is 0,02. Thefore, Ha is accepted and Ho is denied because the score is smaller than 0,05 which means that there is effectivity on cooperative learning model make a match type on increasing the skill of writing simple sentences in arabics. The score of N-gain test is 0,36 which means the effectivity level is on moderate category because 0,7 > gain > 03. According to the result of the questionnaire about students’ responses to this leaning model, 67,61% or participants gave high category based on score interpretation criteria. It shows that the students gave high responses to leaning model applied.
