Abstract
Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh pendekatan taktis terhadap peningkatan kepercayaan diri siswa dalam pembelajaran pencak silat kelas VIII di SMP Negeri 12 Bandung. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah eksperimen. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa siswi kelas VIII SMP Negeri 12 Bandung sebanyak 360 orang, sedangkan sampel dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 36 orang yaitu 10% yang diambil dari populasi menggunakan teknik pengambilan sampel random/acak, yang berarti mengambil 36 orang secara acak dari populasi untuk dijadikan sampel. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. Dan untuk instrumen kepercayaan diri menggunakan survei analisis dengan menggunakan angket sebagai alatnya. Berdasarkan hasil penghitungan statistik pengujian hipotesis (uji t) dengan menggunakan aplikasi Microsoft excel didapat thitung 4,46 > ttabel 1,99, artinya thitung lebih besar dari ttabel, dengan demikian H1 diterima. Berdasarkan hasil uji hipotesis dapat disimpulkan bahwa pendekatan taktis dapat meningkatkan kepercayaan diri siswa dalam pembelajaran pencak silat kelas VIII di SMP Negeri 12 Bandung. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini, penulis merekomendasikan perlu di adakannya penelitian lebih lanjut mengenai penerapan pendekatan taktis terhadap variable-variabel yang berkaitan dengan aspek afektif seperti perilaku sosial dan yang lainnya agar tidak selalu terfokus pada aspek psikomotor saja;--- The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of tactical approach to improving students’ self-confidence in learning pencak silat class VIII in SMP Negeri 12 Bandung. The method used in this research is experiment. The population in this study were students of grade VIII SMP Negeri 12 Bandung as many as 360 people, while the sample in this study as many as 36 people, 10% taken from the population using random sampling technique / random, which means taking 36 people randomly from the population for sampled. This research uses the design of One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. And for self-confidence instruments using analytical survey using a questionnaire as a tool. Based on the calculation of statistical hypothesis testing (t test) by using Microsoft excel application obtained tcount 4.46> ttable 1.99, meaning that tcount is greater than ttable, thus H1 accepted. Based on the results of hypothesis testing can be concluded that the tactical approach can improve students’ self confidence in learning pencak silat class VIII in SMP Negeri 12 Bandung. Based on the results of this study, the authors recommend the need for further research on the application of tactical approaches to variables related to affective aspects such as social behavior and others, so as not to always focus on psychomotor aspects only.
