Abstract
Pembelajaran geografi di SMA Negeri 1 Lembah Seulawah dengan memanfaatkan Taman Hutan Raya Pocut Meurah Intan (TPMI) sebagai sumber belajar belum pernah diterapkan sebelumnya. Pemanfaatan TPMI dalam konteks Man-Ecological Dominant dilakukan menggunaka metode outdoor study dan media audio visual. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh pemanfaatan TPMI sebagai sumber belajar terhadap meningkatkan pemahaman Man-Ecological Dominant peserta didik. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode eksperimen. Populasi dalam penelitian ini, peserta didik kelas XI SMA Negeri 1 Lembah Seulawah, sampel penelitian peserta didik kelas XI IS 1 dan peserta didik XI IS 2 dengan jumlah 44 orang. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan tes, LKS dan angket. Teknis analisis data menggunakan uji normalitas, homogenitas, uji Paired Sampel T-Test dan uji Independent Sampels T-Test dengan SPSS 20. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan 1) Terdapat perbedaan hasil tes peserta didik dengan menggunakan metode outdoor study terhadap pemahaman Konsep Man-Ecological Dominan dalam pemanfaatkan TPMI sebagai sumber belajar. 2) Terdapat perbedaan hasil tes peserta didik dengan menggunakan media audio visual terhadap pemahaman Konsep Man-Ecological Dominan dalam pemanfaatkan TPMI sebagai sumber belajar. 3) Terdapat perbedaan peningkatan hasil tes peserta didik menggunakan metode Outdoor Study dengan media Audio Visual terhadap pemahaman Konsep Man-Ecological Dominan dalam pemanfaatkan TPMI sumber belajar.;---Geography learning in SMAN 1 Lembah Seulawah by utilizing Taman Hutan Raya Meurah Intan (TPMI) as learning source had never been applied before. The utilization of TPMI in Man-Ecological Dominant concept is done by using outdoor study method and audio visual method. This study aims to analyze the influence of TPMI utilization as learning source to enhance students’ understanding of Man-Ecological Dominant concept. This research use quantitative approach with experiment method. Population in this study are students of class XI SMAN 1 Lembah Seulawah. and sample of this study are students of class XI IS 1 and class XI IS 2 with total of 44 students. Data collection technique use test, students worksheet and questionnaire. Data analysis technique use normality test, homogeneity test, Paired Sample T-Test and Independent Sample T-Test by using SPSS 20. The result of study shows 1) There is difference in test result of students who use outdoor study method toward understanding of Man-Ecological Dominant concept in utilizing TPMI as learning source. 2) There is difference in test result of students who use audio visual media toward understanding of Man-Ecological Dominant concept in utilizing TPMI as learning source, 3) There is enhancement difference in test result of students who use Outdoor study method with Audio Visual media toward the understanding of ,Man-Ecological Dominant concept in utilizing TPMI as learning source.
