Abstract

Dilatarbelakangi hasil nilai peserta didik pada ujian kenaikan kelas sebagian besar masih dibawah KKM dan Masih terdapat guru yang berlatarkan pendidikan S1 non kependidikan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui persepsi peserta didik tentang kompetensi guru mata pelajaran PDTO paket keahlian teknik sepeda motor di SMK Negeri 8 Bandung. Pesrepsi tersebut ditinjau dari kompetensi pedagogik, kompetensi kepribadian, kompetensi sosial dan kompetensi profesional guru. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Penelitian ini dilakukan terhadap 100 responden pada peserta didik kelas X peket keahlian Teknik Sepeda Motor di SMK Negeri 8 Bandung. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan angket tertutup dengan menggunakan skala Likert. Hasil dari pengolahan data penelitian yaitu persepsi peserta didik ditinjau dari kompetensi pedagogik mendapatkan kategori baik. Kompetensi kepribadian menunjukan kategori baik. Kompetensi sosial menunjukan hasil yang baik. Kompetensi profesional menunjukan kategori yang baik. Kesimpulan secara umum gambaran kompetensi guru mata pelajaran PDTO dalam kategori baik, guru sudah menguasai empat kompetensi sehingga dapat dikatakan guru profesional.;---Based on Student examination result on promotion test, most of student are not only under KKM standard but also some teachers are not certificated as bachelor degree with special concentration. This research is discussed of student perspective about teacher competencies on PDTO as a module subject on motorcycle technic in SMK Negeri 8 Bandung. The perceptive of research are based on pedagogic competencies around personality competencies, social competencies, and professionalism competencies as teachers. The method that applied for the research are descriptive narration according to quantitative methodology. The research are surveyed containing 100 respondent from SMK Negeri 8 student of X grade. The technic of collecting data contained in secret questionnaire according to Likert scale. Student perceptions are the result of the research from pedagogic competence and categorized as the best one. Personality competencies has shown good categorization, Social competencies has shown good categorization, Professionalism competencies has shown good categorization. General review of the research shown that PDTQ teachers are in good classification. Teachers are should mastered four competencies to be a Professional teachers.
