Abstract

Dalam proses pembelajaran, adanya rasa canggung, malu bertanya, sungkan, yang terjadi pada kegiatan pembelajaran antara siswa dan guru menjadi masalah yang menyebabkan proses pembelajaran menjadi tidak efektif, kondusif dan menyenangkan. Maka pemilihan sebuah metode pembelajaran yang tepat sangat diperlukan untuk mengatasi permasalahan tersebut. Skripsi ini berjudul “Penerapan Metode Pembelajaran Tutor Sebaya Dalam Kegiatan Ekstrakurikuler Paduan Suara di SMP Kartika XIX-2”. Penelitian ini mengenai penerapan sebuah metode dalam kegiatan ekstrakurikuler paduan suara yaitu metode tutor sebaya, bertujuan untuk memaparkan penelitian penerapan metode tutor sebaya dalam kegiatan ektrakurikuler paduan suara di SMP Kartika XIX-2. Permasalahan yang dikemukakan pada penelitian kali ini yakni proses pembelajaran danhasil dari penerapan metode tutor sebaya dalam kegiatan ekstrakurikuler paduan suara SMP Kartika XIX-2. Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah dengan penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan induktif, sehingga pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Dengan penerapan metode tutor sebaya, sang tutor diberikan kewenangan dalam pengondisian dan bantuan belajar kepada sebaya nya, begitupun kewenangan pembina yaitu sebagai fasilitator, juga sebagai sumber materi yang akan diberikan kepada sang tutor.
In the learning process, there is a sense of awkward, shy, feel free to ask, which occurred in the learning activities between students and teachers become the problem that caused the learning process becomes ineffective, conducive and pleasurable. Then the selection of a proper learning methods is needed to overcome these problems. This thesis was titled “Penerapan Metode Pembelajaran Tutor Sebaya Dalam Kegiatan Ekstrakurikuler Paduan Suara di SMP Kartika XIX-2”. The research about the application of a method in extracurricular activities choir is peer tutor methods, aims to expose the methods of application of the research peer tutors in ektrakurikuler activities in choir of SMP Kartika XIX-2. The problems expressed at this time is study the learning process and the result of the application of the peer tutors method in extra-curricular activities choir of SMP Kartika XIX-2. The methods used in the study was qualitative research with an inductive approach, so that data collection was done by observation, interview and documentation. Application of the method of peer tutor, the tutor is given authority in conditioning and learning support to his peers, as well as an Authority Builder chorus as a facilitator, as well as the source of the material to be given to the tutor.
