Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis perbedaan peningkatan kemampuan literasi dan disposisi matematis antara siswa yang memperoleh pembelajaran berbasis proyek dan Konvensional. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuasi eksperimen dengan desain nonequivalent control group, dimana populasinya adalah seluruh siswa kelas VIII pada salah satu Sekolah Menengah Pertama Negeri di Kabupaten Sijunjung. Sampel terdiri atas dua kelas dimana setiap kelas diberi perlakuan dengan pembelajaran berbasis proyek dan Konvensional. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini terdiri atas tes kemampuan literasi matematis dan angket disposisi matematis. Data yang dianalisis adalah data N-gain kemampuan literasi matematis dan data postes disposisi. Data dianalisis dengan menggunakan Mann-Whitney U. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa: (1) Peningkatan kemampuan literasi matematis siswa yang memperoleh pembelajaran berbasis proyek lebih tinggi secara signifikan daripada siswa yang memperoleh pembelajaran Konvensional; (2) Pencapaian disposisi siswa yang memperoleh pembelajaran berbasis proyek lebih baik secara signifikan dari pada siswa Konvensional. ------------- This research aimed to know and analyze the differences of mathematical literacy and disposition enhancement between students who received project based learning, and Conventional learning. This research used quasi experimental methode with non-equivalent control group design, which all students of grade VIII in one of Junior High School in Sijunjung as the population. The samples consist of two classes which each class have been treated with project based learning and Conventional learning treatment. The instruments consisted of mathematical literacy tests and disposition questionnaire. The analyzed data were N-gain of mathematical literacy and posttest disposition data. The data were analyzed using Mann-Whitney U tests. Based on the result of research, the conclusion were: (1) The students’ mathematical literacy enhancement who received project-based learning were higher significantly than students who received conventional learning; (2) The students’ disposition achievement of project based learning was better significantly than conventional students.
